Not a good night for Chinese food. Pork portion of sweet n sour pork was not edible. The tempura fried chicken was also indebile. The beef in the beef and broccoli was nothing but chewy fat pieces with no actual meat. The fried rice tasted as if it had been fried and re-fried 3x. The cashew chicken was the darkest and most flavorless cashew chicken I've ever seen. Would not recommend.
We got a couple #6 combinations , we should have ordered one with an extra plate! Was definitely enough for four or more people! Price seemed a bit steep , but you got to take another meal home with you!
I absolutely love this place, great portion size and really good flavor and can’t beat the price.
Classic variety Asian food. Bend local favorite for a long time. Nice small bar and back room for large families or big meetings. Service is always worth a tip. Clay pot noodles are my favorite.
Such good food! The portions are enormous. My husband and I didn't need an entree, we could have had the lettuce wraps appetizer for dinner by itself. Everything tasted great. We also had spring rolls and mushu chicken. Our entire party walked out with enough food for the next few days. Wonderful service with a smile. When I return to Bend I will definitely go back.
Food was over cooked and dry, but it was hot I will give them that.. the dishes we got there were dry was sesame seed chicken, BBQ pork, and sweat and sour pork. And this isn't the first time in the past 3 months this has happend.. Chans has gone down in quality over the years.. back in mid 2000's I used to go there 3 -4 times a month.. always excellent food then.. maybe they can take a little bit more pride in there cooking and things might turn around.
Good solid old school American style Chinese food. Servers were very good. Ordered the common combo dinner #4 with a bbq pork appetizer. Huge portions, easily enough for 2 meals for me. Came with choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup. Ended with fortune cookie. Taste was average, but I'd definitely go back.
Went yesterday after not going for awhile. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The waitress attended our table right away. Our food was delivered within minutes of taking our order. It was very hot and tasty. Didn't need to ask for a to go bag, the waitress was on top of everything. Had enough leftovers for two more meals. Overall very pleased. Thank you
Super hungry from a road trip, some of the best food I’ve ever had! Really good, has large portions for a great price! We all had leftovers too. Had great service and great servers that were very helpful.
