Went to the Podski and visited a few carts. Overall a great place, however Big Skis was disappointing. The Pierogi plating was cheap and the pierogis were way to expensive for the serving size. Pierogi's came in at $2 each w/ a splat of sour cream on the side of a paper plate. Head next door to the Tin Pig, the Board, or the street tacos. All delicious, all a better value and a better presentation.
They gave me the beef dumplings and I'm vegetarian. Awesome to bite in to.. then did not offer to refund me at all. And they honestly aren't good.
So good ! I come to Bend 1x a year and always visit. Love the sampler plate to try several pierogies.
This place is amazing. I drive 3 hours for these Pierogis. Must try if your in town. You won’t regret it.
Frick to the yes. I wonder what the record for eating the most pierogis is?
Had the Super OG, Chive Me Crazy and the The Piglet with fried onions and sour cream -- I liked the Super OG the most, but they were all good and satisfied my pierogi craving.
Very mediocre pierogis. I got the sampler, and all of the ones I got had very thick dough, and were over cooked and under salted. The best part of the meal was the grilled onions that came on the side with one of the pierogis. I probably won’t be back, but others more passionate about pierogis might like it.
Overall, mixed feelings ONLY because I have one message to the owners of Big Ski's- GET A CART AT HOODOO! Not Mt. bachelor, they won't appreciate the food. I would buy pierogi's religiously while I ski at Hoodoo. But here in town of Bend- it doesn't hit the same. Simply put, this is pure comfort food for skiers which I wish was more accessible when I ski. Bombdotcom
They offer a great variety of pierogis, and every one I've tried has been delicious. The people who work here are super nice. Try the Briski and the Super OG. Yum!
We ordered the sampler plate and asked them to choose the variety. It was amazing! A perfect mix of mild and spicy delights! Thank you for making a long day wonderful!
