Spent a beautiful day in Bend with my husband who wanted to visit Beach Hut deli, he hasn't eaten at one since California. Looking at the menu, food seemed pretty pricey for a sandwich shop, but we ordered anyway. I got a turkey Provolone without bread, and my husband got a pastrami and pepper jack, with toasted bread, heated meat and melty cheese. He also got their homemade (I'm assuming) potato salad. Everything was truly delicious, but the staff made it a real 5 star experience. They were amazing, friendly, quick, and went above and beyond to give us a great meal out. We will definitely be visiting again!
Lots of staff not wearing masks. I’m in my 70s and have to be Covid careful. Bought 1/2 Rueben sandwich. Very small. On white not rye bread. Not worth the price.
Tried it here for the first time with my son; the sub far exceeded my expectation! Definitely recommend for a great sub and a cool atmosphere.
Not worth it. 14$ for a Ruben? You would expect a real sandwich. Lesson learned. Ill just go up the street and get one twice as big for 12$. The Ruben was good. Don't get me wrong, but as a man...I was expecting more.
This place has really good sandwiches. It was recommended by the bartender at one of the close breweries since they weren’t serving food due to staffing and I’m glad he recommended it. Much better than your average sub sandwich shop.
Tons of options and amazing quality. Deli with beer on tap, what else could you ask for. 10/10
It was fun and friendlyGood service and great location.
My first time at this little sandwich place was a five-star experience. Everything from the friendly cashier to the beautiful sunny day in Bend. I had the Surfin Cow. I’ve never had that combination of ingredients on a sandwich. Roast beef, crispy bacon and cream cheese piled so high with avocado on top that the bun really couldn’t contain all the food. It’s a good thing the sandwich was cut in half! You’ll need plenty of napkins! My only criticism, although it will not affect my five star rating is the bun got a little soggy on the second half but I really didn’t care and I’m sure it would’ve increased the price of the sandwich had it been on a sturdier bun. Literally, you could eat this with a knife and fork and be quite happy. Especially for the price! Eat indoors or out in this cute sort of hole in the wall in Bend. I’ll be back!
Best place for sandos ever and a super great crew. 10/10 would recommend
