To put it lightly, management/ownership appear to not be in the hospitality business. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and every time won’t be like the last — inconsistency is not for the restaurant business. Take your time and find another barbecue spot, you’ll be glad that you did.

Ordered takeout over the phone tonight. When I got home I found that my salad was entirely missing along with no forks spoons or napkins. This is the second time napkins and utensils have been missing. The food is still good though.
We stopped for lunch. Burnt ends were among the specials listed on the chalkboard. I asked the friendly server who described them as brisket ends cut off and smoked an additional 16 hours until they almost melted in your mouth. The dish of large chunks of meat arrived, and I was surprised how tough the chunks of meat were. I cannot believe the meat had been smoked for 16 hours, because it should have been very tender. The flavor was mediocre at best. I had ordered a side Cesar salad, which was quite good and was my meal as I did not eat the tough meat after difficulty cutting any of the multiple chunks with the serrated knife provided.
AMAZING!! Best BBQ beans and smoked chicken I've had :) and the Mac & Cheese holy moly!!!!
Portions are OK. Sometimes feels like I'm getting 4 day old BBQ. Last but not least, the owner is a self entitled, arrogant ?. Nothing to see here.
In October 2021 this location was take out only. Totally worth it! As soon as you park you can smell the deliciousness. We had a hard time deciding what to get it all looked and smelled so good! The owner was working that night and the customer service was above and beyond what we have seen in a very long time. We all ordered soft drinks and expected to get to-go cups but he served us up our drinks in glass glasses to enjoy while we waited for our food and then filled up to-go cups. I had the draft rootbeer and it did not disappoint. He gave us plenty of extra sauces. We had the wings which were so tender, beef brisket with thick slices piled high and the riblets special which was so tender. We'll stop here every time we're in Bend it was so good.
The food was ok and the staff is friendly. But the owner is incredibly rude. He yells at staff in front of guests, and he yelled at a young woman in the parking lot over her car. We saw him purposely block someone in and then say he did it so that he could record her hitting his van with her own car. It took a group of other guests to help her get the car out unharmed. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude and I won’t be visiting again unless the ownership changes.
Owner was extremely rude. Would love to support a local business, but not when it’s owned by the person it is owned by. It doesn’t take a lot to be a good human.
