We never had birria tacos before so we decided to give them a try here. We ordered the 2 birria tacos and split the quesabirria. It was more than enough for 2 people. While the tacos were super tasty, I think I enjoyed the quesabirria even more.There are plenty of places to sit and you can even grab a beer from the truck next door. It was a little hard to find but they have signs directing people to them but they’re kind of tucked away inside the courtyard of a hostel. Worth searching for them to grab some delicious food!

The Quesabirria tacos were a little too crunchy. The dipping sauce made no difference to me. The carne asada used for the other meals had a lot of fat and meat was flavorless. Not sure it it was the meat or the cheese that made it very salty. Tortillas were homemade but again simply plain. Definitely over priced. Bathrooms and outdoor seating available. Staff was friendly. Will not return.
Wow, this place has good food. The owners are so nice and their food is great. I tried all their meats. Their fresh handmade tortillas take the taco to the next level.
I savored every bite. I got the Birria Plate and it was so good. The woman who took my order was super nice - great customer service.
This place is amazing!! By far the best Mexican tacos I've had! The orchata is delicious and you really have to check out the chips with mole! The service is great and they have a lot of option, including vegetarian options!! I super recommended this restaurant!

We ordered catering from Alebrijes Oaxaca for our wedding rehearsal dinner. It couldn't have been better! 5 stars for the ordering process, pickup, quantity, and quality of the food. We ordered a two meat (carnitas and carne asada) taco setup with rice, beans, chips, and salsa for 40, but could have easily fed 50+ with the amount of delicious food. We really liked the mole, avocado salsa, and hot salsa.I have worked a lot of events and have never gone to pickup and found that a caterer admitted to over-estimating the quoted price before, but this place did and corrected our order to a lower price. They could double their prices and still be an excellent value. I would strongly recommend them and would order catering from them again.Edit to add: I forgot to mention that they were able to accommodate our order on a tight turnaround- we did not decide to order catering until a week before the event (I had delusions of cooking). They were able to take our order and make it work with a 1 week notice, and that week was Thanksgiving.

Very good food here! But they treat regulars very bad here for some reason. I used to go all the time for lunch as I work downtown. I noticed the food quality and experience is super low when the curly haired gentleman is working. I cannot understand why, and sadly have not been back after my last bad experience with them. I tip great and never went more than 3 times a week so I couldn't have been a huge burden? And I only ever got food for one other coworker so these weren't enormous orders?
