We arrived super-late after a long drive and the host, Nick, could have easily turned us away - they were full and it was past 9:00 p.m. But he graciously had a table prepared for us, despite our attire (we had been on the road for hours and were NOT dressed for dinner). The food was excellent - the pork chop was perfect and the salmon was delicious. The ambiance is very warm, despite the size of the room and the service was impeccable. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was very reasonable. Really recommend dining here.
Comfy trendy spot with small outdoor tables along sidewalk. We ate indoors and it was lively but not loud. Food and drink service prompt, even though the place was very busy.
I arranged to have a wedding celebration here with a large group of about 25 people, we utilized 900 Wall's private dining room upstairs. The planning process was so straightforward and simple, which I really appreciated. On the night of the event, everything was beautifully put together and the meal was absolutely wonderful. Additionally, the entire staff from the owner to the waitstaff was delightful and so accommodating. If you have an event or just want to enjoy a great dining experience in Bend, this is the spot!! Thanks to all for making this a fantastic evening!
I wanted so badly to love this place, and for the most part it was great. The staff is excellent - friendly and efficient. My husband had tuna which he enjoyed very much. I had shrimp risotto which was disappointing. The menu stated that the risotto was cooked with "tomato, olives, capers, parsley, garlic." I pictured shrimp sautéed with diced fresh tomato and the other ingredients over risotto. What I got was risotto served with a healthy sized rim of very spicy tomato sauce. The shrimp was also cooked in the sauce. My suggestion is to indicate on the menu that this is a spicy dish. I cannot eat spicy food and typically, at least in my experience, risotto is not spicy. I also feel that there could be five shrimp instead of four. Risotto is not an expensive dish to make, the prep is minimal compared to other dishes, so to add another shrimp to the cost seems easy enough, even if you have to charge a little more. I was able to skim a little risotto off of the tomato sauce and eat the shrimp. If the word spicy had been in the description, I would not have ordered it and undoubtedly, I would have had a great dining experience. As it happened, it was a disappointing anniversary dinner.
So the pluses are cool decor and a great bar. I ordered a specialty cocktail, the 900 shrub, which was amazing. Unfortunately both of our entrees were on the the almost cold spectrum with respect to the fingerling potatoes and side vegetables. My tuna could have used a little drizzle of sauce too, something fruity and acidic. I still gave 4 stars because the flavors were generally spot on. I think the food temperature was due to understaffing. Even though there were some issues, I would come back again.
This was the best experience i have ever had at a restaurant. We were there with a large group and they were super attentive despite the restaurant being pretty full. The food was delicious and their house made Moscow mule was Fantastic!!!
We have visited 900 wall many times over the past 7 years. The happy hour can’t be beat! They have an incredible wine list too.The service and food are great. So thankful to o have this gem In our community.Get dessert - the beignets!!!!
Fun spot with good atmosphere, food and drinks! Celebrated my 30th here with some friends and everything was really good. We liked our food although there were a couple of dishes that could have been a bit better. My seared tuna was a bit fishy for example, and I could tell it was most likely previously frozen. But overall everything is good here and I'd come back next time we're in Bend.
One of the best dining experiences in Bend. Food was incredible with outstanding service!
Usually we have a great visit. Great cocktails, good service. Dinner was lack luster though. I had the Teres Major, but with French fries? Odd pairing and the fries were hard nuggets, over cooked and should never have left the kitchen. With a $30+ steak I was hoping for more. We'll go again but avoid anything with French fries.
