Truly enjoyed this sushi gem in Central Beaverton. Staff and chefs are very welcoming and efficient. Please have a look at the pictures and captions below, but honestly, you need to see and have some in person to really appreciate it. I recommend reservations even though my husband and I were lucky to get seats as walk-ins right when it opened.
Has unusual type of Sushi. I like cooked food and love the teriyaki chicken a lot! Chicken was lightly seasoned and extremely juicy and tender. Also love the shrimp tempura roll. My husband have ordered the unusual Sushi and he wasn't crazy about the fish type. And the Sushi is pricey compare to other Sushi places we go to with better or comparable quality sushi.
We were a little skeptical when we saw the high rating, but decided to try this place to see for ourselves. We were so happy we did. Everything we ordered was super tasty and all at best quality. My husband doesn’t eat a lot of raw fish so he usually orders teriyaki. He said the chicken teriyaki here was the best one he’s ever had. I think freshness is the main theme here. They have the best wasabi paste mixed with grated wasabi root. Get a side of the kizami wasabi (a sauce with chopped real wasabi stem). We can’t wait to go back! Remember to make a reservation ahead of time (4 days in advance is recommended).

Oh wow - freshness you can taste. If you love sushi - this is the place to be. Small indoor seating but they have an outdoor space that can seat more. The location is not in the main thoroughfare and street parking is available as well as some on premise space.Service is top notch and quick.Reservation recommended but if you time it right - you won’t be turned away.Definitely will be back and love the food.
If you haven’t visited Yubbi sushi, it’s because you haven’t tried the BEST sushi in town. I promise that once you go… you won’t be going anywhere else. We have been going here regularly and ever time Ricky (sushi chef) surprises us with something delicious and unique. The attention to detail with each slice of sashimi to the fun salts and a touch of truffle oil searing the salmon to aged tuna and wagu beef, you won’t be disappointed but when you visit, you will have the full experience because Gloria (the best hostess and Ricky’s wife), will make you feel welcomed and will always unroll your first hand roll for you. And let’s not forget about the BEST shrimp tempura with matcha salt… omg I think about this dish forever and always. You just have to go here, thank me later.Ricky and Gloria know what’s up in the sushi world. Thanks for always sharing the best food with us.
Wow, wow, wow. One of the best experiences I’ve had at any restaurant. The freshest fish I’ve had by far, and the most friendly and funny staff to boot. Absolutely will be coming back.
UHHMAZING! Cute little sushi place. Very clean and well decorated. The sushi was so fresh and literally melted in your mouth. Very fast service as well. Waitress was on top of it all and so nice. The prices were great for this quality and presentation and just everything was happening for this place! Can’t wait to go back! Limited seating as well, we were lucky to get a spot so fast on a Saturday for two people. As soon as we sat down a heard of multiple people came in but seats were taken/reserved!
This place is a solid 10/10. The best sushi in Beaverton/Portland. The portion is perfect! I love that for their nigiri, the fish isn’t cut too thick like most other sushi restaurants here in Portland. The rice they use is delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend Yuubi for authentic and quality sushi.
I selfishly hesitate to write this review, because it’s like letting people know about a favorite surf spot or the secret identity of a superhero. But for any true lover of fresh authentic Japanese cuisine, there is no better option in Beaverton than Yuubi Sushi. Family feel, fresh AF, and service you would expect if you had been a loyal regular for many years. 5 stars.
