Ok so I found the best BBQ in Oregon hands down! I've been searching for a BBQ joint for years and Wolf's head smokehouse is legit! I ordered the The Meat trio plate with all the trimins and my son got the Famous Brisket Burrito, I watched my sons eyes roll into the back of his head when he took the first bite of that Burrito! He absolutely loves it, the brisket is done to perfection the pulled pork is amazing with just a hint of heat and the ribs are bomb AF! SO IF YOU ARE A OREGONIAN THAT HAS BEEN CRAVING BBQ and can't find it well I found it for ya at WOLF'S HEAD SMOKEHOUSE. SERIOUSLY IT IS THAT GOOD. Thank you for delivering an excellent meal and we will be back for sure
The Brisket Burrito was an excellent choice. Lots of flavor, very filling, and freaking massive. Definitely worth it and love the mac and cheese in it! Wish there was a bit more of the chips as I like the crunch. Definitely recommend getting this if you want to be full, happy, and satisfied
It was okay. I felt the brisket was dry. They skimp on the BBQ sauce. Service was moderately fast. Don't get the rice or potatoes they lack flavor. The portions are good size. Not a bad place. But it won't blow you away.
I had the brisket burrito and it was amazing. Tender, flavorful brisket, creamy Mac n cheese, pickled jalapeños and onions…I’ll be back. My wife got some food from a different cart but ended up liking my brisket burrito more than her food. That was just fine because this burrito was huge.
The most tender, juicy brisket ever. I asked them what the best meat was today and they said the brisket, so I got the sandwich. $14 is pricey but it was surprisingly worth it. They have a sign that recommends what sauce to pair with which meat. The brisket was so tender that sauce wasn't needed, but I added the recommended sauce and it was tasty.
The Brisket Burrito caught my attention at this for cart. I liked the idea of mac n cheese and ruffles being added in the burrito. However, it just didn't taste that great. The mac n cheese was a bit bland. The double smash burger, however, was pretty tasty and good.
I ordered the Pork Belly Burnt Ends with Mac n Cheese and Potato Salad. The Pork Belly Burnt Ends are a little smokey, but not really sweet (which I like) as that feels sickly to eat. They are very greasy as expected. Some pieces were tender, other pieces were a bit hard. They weren't anything I feel I need to write home about, unfortunately. The Mac N Cheese unfortunately didn't have as much flavor, as in spice and cheesiness, and had an odd aftertaste for me. I liked the addition of cheddar ruffle chips on top for the added texture although the mac n cheese was a bit dry.I was rather disappointed in the Potato Salad as it wasn't as flavorful as well, really quite bland except for the spot on top where they sprinkled Paprika and it had a slightly better taste. It also had an odd, lingering aftertaste like the Mac n Cheese. All in all, it's just okay to me. It just didn't suit my flavor profile for BBQ but they do have super kind staff. I might go again but order something else and maybe this just wasn't the best day to order here.I have also just moved from Texas, so I would say my expectations for BBQ are a bit high.
Great BBQ...Smokiness was spot on with lingering 'heat'. 4 out of 5 stars as the brisket was on the dry side...Still recommend a visit!
Brisket was alright, decently tender and you could taste some smoke flavor on a few of the bites.. but not nearly flavorful enough to warrant the attitude the person serving me had. My dog liked the rest of it though
Amazing food! The giant brisket burrito with Mac and cheese IN THE BURRITO makes it worth the two hour round trip from my house. Definitely needs to be closer to Washougal!
