Super good Fish Finger and Chips. As an Alaskan, I have high standards on fish and chips, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. Sauce and slaw were amazingly flavorful, only wishing for more. The gentleman that runs the cart is a super good chum.

I don't love fish and chips but this place is amazing. My fiance who is a huge fan of fish and chips has tried all of the different fish options that are offered and they have all been amazing.Highly recommend this place.

Great quality and quantity of food. A large order is enough to feed two people. Fish was cooked to perfection. Wait was short. Highly recommend if you're looking for good fish and chips.

I've been hearing about this place for a long time, it's very highly rated amongst metro-area chippies. The pricing is very fair for the amount of food that you get. I ordered the large order of haddock and chips, and a coke, for $17 before tip. When I got my food, about ten minutes after ordering, there were several very large pieces of fish, a large quantity of fried potatoes, one unfortunately too small portion of tartar sauce, and one equally small couple bites of coleslaw. After the traditional sprinkling of salt and dousing of malt vinegar, I settled down to eat.I first took a bite of the fish without any of the malt vinegar or tartar sauce. The flavor was good, although my first impression was that the breading was still sort of oily. Because the fish was fresh from the fryer, I burned my tongue and the roof of my mouth on the first bite. Definitely my fault. As I moved through the fish, the fish remained very oily, and actually I believe was causing the pieces to break. That is actually my biggest complaint about the fish, that it was oily and didn't hold together in large pieces very well. The breading was decently flavorful both with and without the seasonings and vinegar. The chips were definitely not up to what I've come to expect from an authentic chippy. These seemed like they were store-bought or mass produced, not made fresh to order. Perhaps it's a difference between English and Scottish styles? They were definitely freshly cooked, and very hot, and cooked through nicely, but they didn't have that authentic square cut experience that I've come to expect from other authentic local places like the Horse Brass or The Fish and Chip Shop.Overall, I would eat here again, as there are other flavors of fish to try, and see if maybe my experience with the oiliness is just a one-time thing. I will definitely come back, it's just not in my normal area of regular travels. Still definitely better than most places you can get fish and chips in the area, although I think that the English style fish and chips such as Horse Brass and The Fish and Chip Shop are a little better to my taste. But please, don't take my word for it, taste it for yourself. You will not regret it.

Had haggis for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to going back soon.

The Flying Scotsman was grumpy and rude. Drove across town because I read a review about how good this place is. The Haddock was good not the best, the chips were good and served hot. Because of the guys attitude I cannot recommend. There are better fish and chips served by people who are glad you’re there.

Tried the food cart today. Not impressed. Owner was moody and rolling eyes at customers. Ordered 2 piece cod fish and chips. Very, very greasy. We could lube a Freightliner it was so bad. Fish had no flavor. Fries were greasy and a little soggy. To all you 5 star reviewers, you seriously think this is GOOD? How low are your expectations? The food is garbage. We won't eat here again.

Simply the best fish 'n' chips in town! It reminds me a lot of the fish 'n' chips I would eat in Australia

Been going since he was downtown. Now that he is in beaverton with great parking and safe area, been going more often. Great portions and fish tastes fresh. Also his chips are on point. Crisp outside and fluffy inside, almost creamy.

We recently visited B&G's Food Cartel for lunch. Our experience was very pleasant. There is a wide selection of varying food trucks to choose from. We had appetizers from one and selected from three others for our lunch entries. The area was very clean and safe. It was a pleasant afternoon and the outside seating added to our experience. We'd recommend parking in the free lot across the street as street parking is limited.
