The Oregonian steered us here, mentioning the much missed "Typhoon!" in a recent piece. I must say that it was a really pleasant experience - from the beautiful dining room, the easy parking (just read the signs carefully around "The Round"), and the wonderful server it was a really pleasant night.I was with only one other diner so we couldn't go very deep in the menu, but my food portion was abundant and tasted even better the next day as leftovers (how?!?). The rice and broths (soups) were lovely too. I should add when ordering the server and I settled on 'medium' spice and I would consider this food to be mild, so perhaps they are not using a heavy hand in seasoning. Some Thai restaurants have seasoning trays available for you to add heat after food is prepared, but I'm not sure if that is offered here.I have always been a "Thai Bloom 'stan" but this is definitely a wonderful alternative.
One of my favorite restaurants. Great service and great food! The honey crispy chicken is bomb! The cinnamon orange duck is delicious and the lamb shank is amazing! Our server Joseph is always on top of things and ensuring my family and I have everything we need. It’s also very impressive that he memorizes our orders without having to write it down. We once came in with a group of eight and got everything right.
One of the very few upscale Thai spots on the west side which does not compromise on the flavors. Abundant vegan options and knowledgable staff that helped identify vegan items and modify them to our liking.Parking can be a bit tricky especially on the weekends. Definitely recommend it.
A bit hyped. Went in at 8pm, staff were not very friendly, got a salad roll that was not fresh, could see the cabbage wilted. Beverages were decent. Main course was okay. Lots of noise and dropping of cutlery all around and definitely not a peaceful dinner.Wouldn't recommend for a date night.
Had our order ready within 10 minutes! Food was delicious. Will definitely come back.
This place serves up delicious Thai food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I eat there regularly. Beware this is not the same ownership as the Siam over on West Union. This place is much, much better.
This restaurant is head and shoulders above every other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is exceptional.
Tried a few menu items, the Salmon (specials menu) was amazing!!!
Not your bestfriend if you are the spicy lover. I was disappointed with the Thai spicy level 5 of 5. I guess they have to adjust it for the Western palate. The server gave me a chili flakes as an alternative.tahaha.
Great food, excellent service! Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the parking is limited. Family ordered 4 different dishes and all were great. One suggestion to the owners, the halibut was over cooked, tasted good but was tough.
