The food is excellent and bursting with flavor. Although the shop is small and pretty busy the food comes out super fast. I have never tried Hawaiian food before but it was very enjoyable. The staff are also super nice and there is outdoor seating!
Heard a lot of great things about Roxy's for a while and finally added to my list of tried places...it was good, just not as yummy as I'd have hoped. Food was ready way faster than anticipated for an online order, even with all the warnings of when to arrive on the website when ordering. Give them a try.
Food was decently priced and portions were good. The flavor was alright, nothing amazing but not bad either. The reason I'm giving it two stars is due to the chicken (Kalbi chicken) I purchased came out cold. I was also charged for sauces that I was not informed would cost .75 cents each. I probably would've still got them but it's something that should be mentioned. Another thing that was kinda gross was the free water. I poured two cups and each one had a bunch of fuzzy hairs and floaties swirling around. No thanks... Sad to say but I will not be returning after my first attempt at trying this place out. Pretty disappointed. Ordered the pineapple chicken and it was not at all what the menu looked like. Cold crushed pineapple added on top of the chicken so it was soggy and cold. No flavor on the Mac salad. Chicken was definitely cooked way earlier. It was tough and very dry. Probably the worst Hawaiian food I've had here.Update- my wife and I have been up most of the night with diarrhea because of this food. Don’t eat here.
I go here pretty frequently for lunch. It's walking distance from me. And it is always a hit! I normally get the teriyaki chicken which is awesome by it self. Today I tried the khalua pork. Did not disappoint.
I’m so upset about my order tonight! I usually love this location and eat here at least once a week. After tonight I don’t know if I’ll be going back. I ordered the teriyaki chicken/garlic crispy chicken and mac salad and rice. My chicken is slimy and pink on the inside not fully cooked and my garlic crispy chicken is soggy and doesn’t look anything like my normal order.
Always the first place we show people when they come to town. If somethings wrong with your food let them know, they cant improve if we dont tell them.Ie: sometimes the rice has hard uncooked or overcooked parts. But not that often.
Absolutely incredible Hawaiian BBQ. The portions are very generous as well. We make a special trip to the suburbs just to enjoy some Roxy's
The food is always amazing! It’s seasoned and cooked to perfection. The customer service has gone down for sure though. The day staff tends to be really happy and cheerful but evening staff seems bothered by customers.
