I was banned for absolutely no reason yesterday afternoon. I’d began coming here a few days ago because it was the closest bar to my girlfriend’s job where I’d frequently hang out and wait for her to get off and actually befriended a few really nice people. There’s a short, stocky bartender with arm tattoos and a beard at the time who asked me if “I was good” one night as I sat on my phone texting my gf and had a beer while watching a college basketball game during the March Madness NCAA tournament. I signaled to him that I was fine and was rudely met with a long “mmkay?”. Weird. About twenty minutes later I began to feel unwell (it was a cheap beer and I don’t drink often) so I decided to go to the restroom and sit down in the stall until I felt better. After 10-15 minutes in the restroom, I heard a loud banging on the stall door asking if “I was good” and to “hurry up and leave”. Also weird. Confused, yet tired and unwilling to escalate further, I obliged, left and proceeded to order an Uber home. I assumed there was someone patiently waiting to use the restroom and thought nothing else of it. Two days later, I brought a relative, who drove 10 hours to visit me from California, to get a bite to eat and was told “I wouldn’t be served anymore”. After asking why I was told the reason being was that I was “in the bathroom too long” and that I was “always faded” with no opportunity to give a response before walking away into the kitchen, despite visiting and being served three times prior without complaint and even being upcharged several dollars more than I authorized on both occasions, which I had planned on discussing and reconciling with them before ordering food that afternoon. I was humiliated in front of a close relative I hadn’t seen in years as well as one or two people at the bar who had no idea what was going on. Hence, I had to dispute two charges with my bank that were $40 and $15 over what I paid for during two separate occasions and I am now officially boycotting Ringo’s for the rest of my existence. Come here if you want to be significantly overcharged, subjected to complete and utter embarrassment (first and secondhand), possibly discriminated against, and pretty much disregarded as a human being entirely! ? Possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any establishment.
Burgers were amazing, friendly staff, lots of pool tables but the pinball is by far my favorite!
Amazing bar for working folks in downtown Beaverton. If you like going to a bar that has long-term staff you can connect with then you won't disappointed.
Great place to grab a drink and a burger! Several pool tables in the back.
I can’t say enough good about the staff in this establishment. They’re all absolutely amazing people! However, they apparently have a policy, that we had never heard of, of charging by the hour for pool. We only realized it when we paid our check, thought it was awfully expensive & we received an itemized receipt. It wouldn’t be so bad if we’d been told in advance about the charge, but we weren’t. Or if the pool tables were really nice, but they’re not. They’re cheap, uneven, pre-used tables. Not worth an hourly rate. We otherwise enjoyed our visit here. I’m sorry to say we will be playing pool elsewhere next Sunday.
I don’t recommend Ringo’s because they have a sneaky charge for playing pool. We’ve never heard of paying by the hour to play pool. WTF?!?! The tables are cheap, uneven & pre-used. Not worth an hourly rate of $22. Ridiculous! We will be playing pool elsewhere next Sunday.
Good food, great beer on tap, and the staff is fantastic. The only thing keeping it from five stars is that the menu is a bit limited on non-fried items. But, it's still a great place to catch the game and enjoy a cold beer.
I've been here twice with a group of friends and both times have been great. Food was delicious and prices are very reasonable.
Amazing drinks and atmosphere. I love this place its my favorite bar to go to.
The staff here are some of the most amazing, kind, funny, sarcastic, caring people you will find in this industry. Add the fact that the professional aspect is not neglected. The Broasted chicken has stood the test of time to perfection! Everything else on the menu is wonderfully crafted with care and delicious ?. Tons of things to do (as opposed to feeling like you are just here to drink), like pool tables, pinball, golden tee, VP, plenty of screens for your favorite sports program, trivia nights...etc.etc.etc. If you can't feel comfortable here, you should probably stay home as you wouldn't be comfortable anywhere. 17 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+
