Best place for sandwiches, soups, and Cookie
Went in to ask if they had a mask. Kindly asked them if they did since I had forgotten mine. They responded rudely, without looking at me, “we do not have a mask for some like you”. Said ok and promptly walked out. I understand about not having masks to dole out but no need to be so rude about it.
First time visiting a potbelly and was not impress with the manger. He was very rude and I asked for some thing to be placed on my sandwich and he told me that should’ve been ordered first. If I have been to a potbelly before I would’ve known for sure. But, never be to this place ever the guy was completely rude and a jerk and I asked one of the workers if he was the manager and she said yes. He needs to go back to customer service school. We also witnessed him being rude to his employees. We will never come back to this place.
Second time they screwed my order ordered some sandwiches one with all condiments and the other different so I don't know how to tell to do or prepare my sandwiches I can't see when what they add on my sandwiches even if I repeat still missing condiments I may not come until they are very trained
Staff were sitting on the floor when we came in, and kept on looking at customers and laughing. Overall really weird experience, and food quality was very low
Staff was aloof and not super helpful. Sandwich was made incorrectly even after the unpleasant experience unfortunately. Will likely not be returning to this location due to service.
Tried to order an underground sandwich we've been ordering for a decade and we were accused of lying about the sandwich. They refused to make it unless we payed the price of multiple sandwiches saying Pot Belly no longer does custom sandwiches.
Decent food but unhelpful and annoyed staff.... Other places as good and more helpful.When I asked what would go well with the meat I selected, the man said he doesn't know me and cannot know what I like. When I acknowledged this but said he has experience with what people tend to like, he slowly enunciated what he had already said, as if I must have been unable to understand. He wouldn't say anything but this.I get that it isn't your job to tell me what I like to eat, but having made thousands of sandwiches, you can tell me if your kind of mustard or your kind of vinaigrette would go well or is ordered often with what base I want.... I had never been to potbelly and didn't know what they do best. Now I know they are best at making me regret visiting.
The food tastes ok, but the proportions-to-cost ratio is out of whack. Very Portland posh pricing =/
