Friendly help. The spicy chicken strips are amazing but overpriced. The crunch was really good on the chicken bites but they left my mouth with a greasy feel after eating about 5 of them. The blackened ranch sauce was really tasty, and the mustard dip was good on the chicken sandwich.Personally, I liked the heat on the chicken but preferred the chicken sandwich at KFC for overall flavor. The bun on t chicken sandwich had a stretchy consistency and sweetness to the point that I commented to my dining partner that it tasted almost like Hawaiian sweet bread.Dining area was open and clean. There was a fruit tea that was a lower sugar option that was pretty good at the fill-it-yourself soda station. Lots of parking and with mature trees nearby, I imagine finding a shady spot at edge of property in the hot summer weather would be easy to find. (Though I came today on a windy rainy day in Mid-May.)
We love the chicken but pretty much every time I pick up dinner it is not what I asked for. Last time was just a week ago. I ordered a 3 Tender combo, a 3 piece Tender a la carte, plus a 4 piece Chicken combo w/ Cole Slaw. Only got 3 piece Tender combo and only a 3 piece Chicken combo but no slaw. Went back in, the Manager apologized and put my order together. Still didn't get Slaw and instead of 3 piece Tenders, I got 8 pieces of Shrimp.
Chicken sandwich is good but size is inconsistent. Bought 3, 2 were on the small size. This place needs to work on consistency.
Okay, I feel 2 stars is reasonable. Their chicken nuggets are some of the best I've had. My main issue is that their shrimp isn't devained. While not necessarily a health risk, it's the idea of eating shrimp waste that's very off putting and what ultimately ruined my meal. Most likely wont be eating here again.
Closed the store early, no reason given. I had already ordered my food via mobile, was told I could only get it via the drive through. The drive through line wasn't moving at all, and another customer told me it had taken him over an hour to get through it (and they had forgotten half his order anyways and he had to come back!). Manager and staff were extremely rude and gave no explanation for the closure, and refused to refund my order.I'm really not one to leave bad reviews, and I don't like causing a scene. But... this really was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in my entire life. They basically stole my money, and I left with no food. I live five minutes away, but I will never be back.
This is the second time recently that the drive thru has gotten our order wrong. Asked for Strawberry Fanta and get Lemonade, and paid for a Hot Apple pie which we didn't receive. The food is good but it would be nice to get what we order.

Then the amount it rang up for seemed off, but um okay... When we got our meal not a single thing was correct. Two bone-in pieces instead of eight tenders, pie instead beignets, only one side, etc. So I've got no idea what the cashier put in. The manager seemed annoyed with having to fix it, pointing out that we'd need to pay the difference in price - sure, that's fine and expected, but then they gave us 8 tenders without our second side, other biscuits, and did not fix the dessert being incorrect. We didn't bother past that, we'd been waiting like 20 min at this point and just wanted to eat. The apple pie was tasty, for the record. But if anyone's tried the beignets and they were good, let me know.
Rare for me to give four to a fast food place, but hear me out. I have been going here for many years, and have never had a disappointing experience. I get simple things, road snacks, things I can eat on my way to my swing shifts. It's never bad. If you like Popeye's chicken, definitely hit this one, if you haven't.
It seems the chicken is just getting smaller.Also, the woman that gave my order seemed upset when I asked for honey. She then dropped a box and started to speak angrily. I don't know if it was directed at me or not because she was speaking non-English. The manager tried to talk to her but I also could not understand. It would help if they spoke English in front of customers.
The sides are awful. The chicken sandwich is good but I'm not a fan of the other chicken options. Way too much breading and the chicken takes really salty. Sorry.
