Good location, plenty of parking. Welcome sign in the vestibule says "Please wait to be seated," but the vestibule can't be seen from the kitchen area, where the staff is, so you have to wait till someone walks by, or go find someone if you can't wait.For appetizers, the chips are warm and the red salsa is tasty. Service is cheery and prompt, and our waiter has a hell of a whistle that he used with abandon going in or coming out of the kitchen.My Tacos Mexicanos (beef in soft corn torts) were very good, as were my wife's enchiladas. We've been there a few times, and always look forward to it.
We've been coming here for years.Always such friendly service. These guys really bust their tails to do a great job.Margaritas and carnitas enchiladas get my top, most-enthusiastic thumbs-up, but I've yet to come across a dish that isn't delicious.Keep it up, yall!!
On April 7th, 2022, we had dinner at one of our favorite local Cedar Hills Mexican Restaurant, Pepitas. They were packed and somehow just two servers fed us all. It may not have been as fast of service as usual but everyone was showing grace and no complaints were heard around us. The family at the table across from us, pulled out cards and played Uker. ? Our server got a 40% tip and earned every bit of it. Thank you Pepita's for getting it done and the food was amazing as always. Go and support local.
Great food, but.... it takes forever to get drinks and your order taken. Servers regularly are overwhelmed and despite the food being exceptional the wait for drinks really kills the experience. Hot salsa needs a drink. If the servers can't keep up, they shouldn't fill the dining room. Plain and simple.
Definitely peppy looking spot. Chips taste fresh and served hot. Although pretty spicy than other restaurants, my family loved it and wanted more. The fajitas here are what's up. Absolutely beautiful flavorful.
Waited 51 minutes for food.Then they overcharged my credit card.When I called to ask them about this, they refused to give me the difference back because I wasn't there in person to show my receipt.So I disputed it with my bank instead.Terrible customer service. Much better Mexican food places in town. Don't waste your time.
Salsa that came with chips was hot as hell, (we loved it!) Last time I came, I got the boring old chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans, but i really liked it, so this time, I got it again but with the molé sauce. It was a little too savory for my taste; but you'd like it if you like molé really chocolatey and a little cloying with undertones of cinnamon.That being said, I hate to admit it, but that molé sauce in combo with the beans, gave me the most noxious, air-thickening throat-choking gas that lasted for a full 24 hours, and I'll never eat it again. But that might just be me. My body usually only reacts that badly to foods that have been highly processed.That was an unusual reaction there though I'll still go back, just not for the molé sauce. I also like the arroz con pollo there too, but it varies between visits a bit in texture and flavor.The service is almost always excellent, and always with a smile and good vibes. Seems like most staff have authentic Mexican heritage, but what do I know.Always plenty of parking. Bathrooms clean but very small. Tables, dishes and serving wear clean. They will keep your drinks coming if that's easier you need.

I don't live out here in Beaverton but 3 out of 5 times I come visit friends here we go to Pepita's! The food is so deliciously fresh, and there Margarita's hit the spot! The service is always nice to boot. See you soon, Pepita's!
Heard great reviews and went in. Was treated very badly and employees believe they can talk to a customer however they want. Initially was told a table would ready for me and my family in a few mins but when my father attempted to ask about the table, one of the employees told us it would then take longer for it to be ready. I was prepared to wait for it until I was very rudely told that if I didn't wanna wait I could leave. Never coming back and will not recommend.
