This place deserves negative stars for the awful experience I had here. It was my first time at this restaurant and location and I’ll never go back. We sat upfront for 20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged and were flat out ignored. Finally I went up to a lady and asked if I could place a Togo order for 2 veggie rolls and she told me it would be an 1.5 hour wait. Seriously. They were busy but still I could’ve ordered online and had it ready for pickup in 20 mins. They quite literally refused our service for no reason. I’ll never go back.
I wish I could leave no stars. We phone our order and they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived early and checked in with the host and they said it wasn’t ready. We checked in again and again and after an hour of waiting and checking in, the host/server went to check if it was ready, come to find out our order had been ready and sitting for well over 30 minutes. Over $50 wasted. So disappointed.
I ended up at this place because my original plan to go next door fell through (computers system was down & they couldn't seat anyone). Yes, this place took my group of 9 but the service was HORRIBLE which is such a shame because the food was good. They were more concerned with their takeout orders. We sat down at 6pm and had a show to catch at 7:30. Our orders didn't come out at the same time. Then they forgot about the last 2 orders which finally came out at around 7:15 pm. Yeah, thanks I'll just scarf down my meal now. They did try to make up for it by giving the 2 people who didn't get their orders a salad and edamame. But wouldn't it have been better if they had just gotten what they ordered?
Sushi was fresh and good, just had to deal with arguing to get my order. Only one to-go order in the shop, and it was eveything I had ordered. Yet I was told it wasn't mine, my wife who made the order called and they then argued with her as well. Then said o maybe it is your order and told my wife they would bring it out to me. She messaged me that, and after 5 more minutes I went back inside and hade to waite a few more minutes for help even though the shop was half empty. They rang me up and never apologized or even acknowledged the issue. Like I said the food was good hence the 3 stars but the service is trash.
Love the food but the customer service is atrocious. After ordering online and waiting in line for my food for 20 minutes past my pickup time, I asked the woman working how much longer it would be. She rudely dismissed me saying they were making it and proceeded to talk to the next person in line. After over an hour I went to ask about the food ETA again and was then told they were not going to make my food and I had to cancel my order. I am so sad because I really loved this place but will unfortunately never be dining there again.
4.5 stars I will say why not 5 in a moment2/26/22 paid $44 for two entrees and one sushi roll, delivered. Not bad.I love that they always read the delivery notes and kitchen notes. I have never not enjoyed something I ordered, until tonight that’s the spicy chicken. If you were thinking about ordering it because you think it might be like Kung Pao chicken, it’s not , it’s just bell peppers and onions and it really is not good chicken. Tastes a little bad actually.Spicy chickien- No!Dragon roll- meh, it’s overpriced on the delivery menu.Teriyaki chicken- Yes!The teriyaki chicken is wonderful I crave it all the time. It comes with delicious miso soup that is so healing especially after a hangover and a salad with ginger dressing that’s always crisp and fresh. The teriyaki chicken entrée is big enough that it can be two meals or one meal and a snack for later and the chicken is much much better. The salad with the ginger dressing is fantastic.The only thing I don’t like about Mio Sushi, at all, is the price variations everywhere. The price on delivery is much different than the price on the website of course, however the price on the website is different from the price of the menu taped outside the building and the price when you go to pay is different from the price on the menu taped to the outside of the building. This should not be regular business practice and I hope they can make their online menu match the menu they advertise on site and what they actually charge. This is why I won’t give them 5 stars. Otherwise it is really good!!Just don’t order the spicy chicken, it’s not worth the $16.95.
Delicious! Friendly staff! Several locations around Portland so there is bound to be one in your neighborhood.
Definitely never coming back here. I've eaten a meal a few times and I've never been really satisfied but today is the last time. I found a hair underneath my Center on my plate and when I called it to the ladies attention she just smiled and brought me the check. I didn't want a discount I wanted an apology and she wouldn't even acknowledge the hair and how gross that is to find

The sushi here was half as good as other places in the area that are half the price. The prices online are completely wrong. For something that was $4 online, it was $7 inside. For something that is $9 online, it was $15 inside. Go anywhere else, the sushi here has no taste.
