Here we are, 1st time at Maria Bonita Mexican grill. The food was hot and the portions were nice. The corn tortillas are and were freshly made. I had the "carnitas de puerco" plate, there was a lot of meat but it was so fatty that it was hardly edible, flavor was good. The "Pollo a la crema" plate , the sauce was very flavorful, however there was only 2 small pieces of chicken. We also had the "enchilada verde" it was okay. The mugs of pop were large and over sized that was nice. The strawberry margarita was so salty you couldn't taste the fruit. I didn't even have to use the salt on the rim. Not sure if there was alcohol in it. The customer service was great. But at the end of it all I definitely would not return.

Food was super good, service was friendly and quick, had great drink options for a fair price (get the jarritos margarita). An absolute hidden gem

my daughter said her shrimp burrito was good. I had hard shell steak tacos and only wanted cilantro and sour cream and there wasn't much steak and the whole tin was filled with lettuce and tomatoes. the price was really good, though, and so was the flavor. I would definitely try it again.

Such a great spot for authentic Mexican food. A huge menu of options as well as drinks you'd find at the most local of spots in Mexico City.Support this local gem when you can. The prices are reasonable as well. The space is in a convenient location near Ceder Hills directly off Hall. The staff are all outstanding as well. Each and everyone of them are respectful and professional while taking care of your table with the friendliest of service. There are many Mexican restaurants around Beaverton, but only a few stand out. This is one of the go-tos if you like authenticity.Get the fajita carne asada. My favorite.

Love the decor. Wonderful service. But the food lacked flavor. Asked for a water refill. The water refill, oddly, tasted like lemon. Ugh. Probably won’t return.

I ordered the combo two tacos and enchilada the only thing I didn't like about it was the tacos didn't have enough flavor ordered also was the fajitas combination that was sooo flavorful and the presentation was on point the staff was very helpful we didn't have to wait long for the food good place to go ?

I don't usually give a review after one visit, but I've been all over the country, and grew up in the deeper south which has a much heavier Hispanic population. With that said, if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, you need to come here. Bold flavors, confident appeal, and nothing is americanized or compromised. The house made chili sauce is on point too.I'll definitely be back.

the food was excellent and server was fantastic. the pictures, Wall hangings. table decor all were great.

Chips and Salsa upon arrival is solid and fresh. Margaritas are big. Food portions are good sized. Friendly service!

Let me start by saying that I'm a native to Los Angeles. So, I know authentic Mexican food hahaha. After moving to the Portland area, I struggled for a while to find a good Mexican joint. Everything was too bland and overpriced. Maria Bonita is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant that I've tried in the area... and I've tried many. Hand made tortillas, very friendly customer service, free chips and salsa, as well as an array of salsa options with your food (try the spicy Habanero salsa). Their Carnitas plate is to die for... crispy, yet tender. Also try their fajitas, tacos, burritos...anything really. It's all delicious. I do want to point out that their prices are steeper than what I'm used to coming from Southern California, but their portion sizes are large. You can likely share a dinner combination plate between two people. Given that, the prices are not so bad. Please do yourself a favor and give Maria Bonita a try!
