Had a get together for lunch at Loyal Legion Beaverton on Tuesday. What a beautiful space. Their cocktails are so good, and there are so many to choose from. Something for everyone for sure. Lunch was fantastic. I had the Brussel Sprout Salad and a pretzel. Both were so good. The salad came with a green goddess dressing and the pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard. Definitely will go again. They have a wonderful outdoor space for the sunny days. It is covered though so it would be good year round. Service was great. Check it out if you haven't yet
Craft beer, craft drinks, beautiful venue. I thought it was great but parking is such a hassle I'm not sure it would be my regular spot. I sat at the bar and service kind of came in fits and spurts, no interaction for 20 minutes, the 4 people ask me if I need something. I tried the chicken sandwich, it was good, wish they pounded the chicken breast flat.
We went to an Old Church, turned Auther Murray Dance Studio, turned Beer Hall. The Loyal Legion sports an extensive Whiskey and Bourbon selection as well as 100 taps of local beers and a few cidars. ??Simple food menu but nothing short of delish. I started with the Pineapple Express Kolshe and BBQ Burger ?with Tots. I then finished with a Red Nitro and the Nitro Nut Crusher Peanut Butter Porter. (my husband and I shared these last two)...OMG, dessert was not required after the Porter. You order everything at the bar and find a seat if you can. There was outdoor seating but everything was filling up quickly. Friday night crowds are nice to see again. Wait for food was about 30 minutes but worth it. Oh we'll be back because 96 bottles of beer on the wall yet to drink .. Go and support local. ?
There is an incredible selection of beer, with many varieties. Very cool vibe inside. Probably the best smash burger of my life. The food menu is limited, but really good! If you sit at the bar, they take very good care of you. Only downside is that you have to order everything at the bar, not ideal if you take a table away from bar top. Definitely a new favorite spot of mine!
Tonight was my first time at Loyal Legion. The reason I went is the Beaverton Area Chamber was doing a ribbon cutting for them. I decided to order something to eat so I asked Jamilia, bartender, what she recommended. She suggested the Brat sandwich. I told her if its on a hard bun I would have trouble eating so suggested in a form of a salad with grilled onions. It was delicious.#Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce
Exclusively Oregon craft beers, ciders, NA beers, yuuuuge whisk(e)y & Bourbon selection. Delicious fresh cooked food. From feel-good soups to 2-hand smash burgers. Friendly service by Josh, Matt, Ashton, & Ny. Beautiful renovation of this historic building. Outdoor seating undercover with heaters. Fire pit out back. ?? Please bring back the chicken noodle soup. The spicy veggie noodle soup tastes medicinal, where as the paprika & chicken flavors in the chicly noodle soup were comforting.
Loyal Legion has two locations this one and their original location in the Central Eastside Industrial District in Portland. Always 99 beers on tap. Oregon beers only and they rotate frequently.
I’ve been waiting through the normal start-up time to try out Loyal Legion. It was well worth the wait. Stopped by for lunch to check it out while they were not busy.I’ve admired the cool historic building from the outside for the past year as they opened, they did an outstanding job maintaining the historic look and feel on the inside too.It always kills me when reviewers are critical of a business being busy. It’s generally a sign that they are doing something right, if they weren’t, they wouldn’t be busy. HmmmmThey have a great beer selection on tap and what looks to be an extremely well stocked bar. I had a Super Smash burger with tots for lunch with a nice Dunkel beer. Great burger, friendly service. I’ll be back with friends, looks like a keeper for Beaverton.Great job folks.
Very reasonably priced food and fun vibes! Order at the bar, no reservations, first come first served seating. Reminds me of a place that would be in Santa Barbara. Two big tvs for sports watching. Will be back!
This place is fun! My first time we stopped in during the NFL Conference Title games and had so much fun we ended up staying for both games. Huge selection of drinks!!! Also, they have $3 Shots of the Day..."Yes, please I'll have another. Actually make it three, maybe four." The staff was quick and very friendly! I only had their pretzel with beer cheese and it was good, however, the Happy Hour menu is very well priced and the other food looked good.
