Crowded little market with taqueria at the back. Menu is at the back counter, order and pay at the front counter, go back to the rear counter for your food? All the tables were up and I stood about awkwardly waiting for my food and getting in people's way. Prices didn't match the menu, and I don't think their kitchen was up because I waited way longer than any to go breakfast item should rightly take. Not impressed with service but I'll cut some slack because the huevos rancheros la Michocoan were great and I was there pretty early.
Very disappointing, service was HORRIBLE very rude and judgmental, sorry I don’t speak Spanish, but that doesn’t mean we should be treated like trash. Food was lack luster, there was almost no onions and cilantro on our tacos. And I ordered a side of chips and didn’t get them. Definitely don’t recommend, there’s so many great Mexican restaurants and food trucks around here with WAY better customer service and better food.
Best to home made food I’ve had so far
Probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Portland area and I’m not saying that lightly! I’m a big fan of Mexican fast food. I grew up in Phoenix and lived in Ensenada for a while, so I have high standards when it comes to this. The vegetarian nachos were delicious, it came with a variety of cheeses and was melted perfectly. The other toppings were excellent as well. Overall great presentation. I love the huevos rancheros and cheese empanadas as well. The vegetarian burrito wasn’t great, but considering how good the rest of the food was, I did not mind. I would recommend giving this place a try. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic! It's been hard finding good Mexican food after moving here from Tucson, AZ 10 years ago. But this place blew us away!!!
This place has decent food, but not worth the 40 minute wait for 4 birria tacos. I'll go somewhere else next time. Or maybe i'll go here if I want to waste my life away..
Restaurant is inside convenience store. You pay at the store front. Their birrerria taco with consome was solid, but not the best I have had.
So delicious! Big burritos and the pastor is delicious.
Recommend the empanadas and burritos. Order in front, pick up and eat in the cute area in back.
