Went here because a lady in my water aerobics recommended this as “authentic Hawaiian food”. Unfortunately- it’s not. It is, however, authentically dismal and undelicious premade food. I asked about the “spring rolls” which looked like fried egg rolls from the picture and he said “those are pre- made- I don’t know what’s in them”. I ordered a mahi mahi sandwich which was saturated in grease with a side of fries which were the only thing edible. I asked for no tartar so apparently this meant just a generic sesame bun and an overly fishy greasy piece of mahi mahi. No flavor- no pride. The staff was not friendly or outgoing at all. If you want delicious Hawaiian food go to Migets in Forest Grove where they are clean, friendly and most importantly- make DELICIOUS Hawaiian food. This building would be better off utilized as a Froyo or ice cream place. $17 for lunch I didn’t eat.
Really tasty Katsu Chicken!! Was recommended to go here by some Hawaiians and it is very tasty! Love their Macaroni salad too that is always my favorite.
Do not waste your time or your money. I have been to MANY L&L restaurants over the years this is by far the worst. Saimin is served "to go" and you are given the broth and noodles and chicken on the side and you are to make it yourself. What!? The teriyaki chicken was dry as a bone and the bottle of teriyaki sauce on the table was like water. Trying to save money?? The ribs were like chewing on an old shoe. Our party of 4 threw our food away. This was a birthday lunch and was a HUGE disappointment. Never again.
Had the mini Locomoco and it was delicious! Staff was polite and professional and my food was prepared promptly and fresh.
The prices are WAY to high for the incredibly small portions. I placed an order through Doordash and was shocked at the side salad to go size styrofoam boxes, one baby scoop of rice?? No sauce? And the Mac was almost $2 for legit no more than 2.5 tablespoons....absolutely ridiculous. The food is okay, not the best, not the worst, but for the amount I was charged I expected top quality. Definitely sticking to my go to spot from now on in Hillsboro, next to the court house and directly across from McDonald's and Gen x clothing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY IT OUT!!! BEST MAC AND TERIYAKI AROUND AND MASSIVE PORTIONS FOR CHEAP!!!!
You can't go wrong with L&L! This location is very small though. Only a couple tables inside and out.
First off the staff is so friendly. Made you feel so welcome and that they were genuinely glad you came in. Big portions. You will not walk away hungry. Food was also very tasty. Please church them out they deserve people to come on based on their excellent service.
Very nice place to be in, customer service was great. Pricing may be a few dollars higher but the weekly specials really helps out. Ordered chicken Katsu: was made in a few minutes and turned out bomb, crusty outside, soft inside, prefect taste with katsu sause. Clean restraunt, cozy, very nice place to stop by and check out. Highly recommend thanks again!
My friend Brad and I went to this place for lunch we both spent the next 3 days sitting in the restroom sick from their spoiled food Both of us got very sick if it was just one of us I would think it was something else . In my opinion I would not eat there trust me I'm sure I'm not the only person who got sick there I noticed we were the only ones there at lunch time that's something right there to think about. Don't i mean don't go without bringing lots of toilet paper if you do
Had dinner on a Thursday @6pm. Friendly staff & delicious food. I had the kahlua pork & lau lau. Liz had the pork & cabbage. Both are great. Out of order restroom, so have to use the mall restrooms. Long walk
