Due to Covid, the staff had been cut, so the service was really slow, we’ve waited for almost 30 minutes to get our food. But I guess good food are worth the wait. The food was really good, sashimi were really fresh. My favorite was the rice less roll, full of protein and cucumbers. The flavor were all nicely compliments one another. If you ever come to this store. Just order This :)
Came here to eat dinner on a cold April night, based on the high ratings on Google Maps. Boy was the rating too high! First off, they don't do dine-in because they are short-handed. True, there was only a sushi cook and a waitress there. So take-out only at this point. Secondly, the portions are tiny which translates to high prices. I am normally not a big eater, but the 3 rolls for the 2 of us only made me half full. And they cost $36 with tips! Food tastes fresh and OK, but certainly not 4.8 stars OK...
Love going to these smaller Sushi Restaurants. Service, food, atmosphere was just right! If you’re ever in the area, give this place a try. Mahalo Koya Sushi! ??
The sushi at Koya is so good! Been for both dine-in and take-out multiple times. The quality is outstanding, the food very fresh and we just don’t want other sushi. Looking forward to sunnier days and eating outside in the closed off street with seating. Plus, real wasabi is available!! Careful, it’s potent!
Just found my new favorite sushi spot! My wife and I split the Red Eye Roll, 9 piece Nigiri combination, and the 6 piece Veggie Roll and it was all fantastic, probably some of the best fish quality I’ve had in the Portland Metro area. Excellent, will definitely be back!
Great food and wonderful service! First time here. My family and I were looking for some sushi that is close to home and better quality than the "rotating" restaurants. We have found our new spot! Cathy was our server (maybe it was Kathy; don't know) and she was very personable and fun. June (maybe it was Jun; don't know) was the sushi chef. Their menu is full of inventive combinations with rolls. The quality and taste were uniformly superb! The Spicy Tuna roll was a standout favorite!! The unagi nigiri was edged out by the bincho maguro (albacore; don't know :)). This is our new home when the wife does not feel like cooking!
Really awesome sushi so glad we have a go to sushi spot in Beaverton now :) Got the lobster roll and the hang ten role both were awesome! Service was really fast too, but there only open for lunch so keep that in mind :)
Love their fresh and high end taste Sushi. One of the best in town *period !! Kathy is very friendly and tentative and Chef Jun was very courteous. All fresh made with great flavor by the skillful chef. Highly recommended for local Beaverton sushi restaurants ??
Delicious!!! My husband (who is vegetarian) and I came here for dinner tonight and we loved it. I got the Monster roll and Caterpillar roll and they were both awesome, as was the octopus. My husband got the asparagus roll (he said these were the best he's ever had anywhere!) and shittake roll (which had a light sweetness that was tasty). The restaurant was clean and had a nice minimalist vibe, and the presentation of the sushi was beautiful. The prices were reasonable. We loved the food and will come back here for sure!
The best sushi in town
