Absolutely Amazing, I got the garlic tonkatsu ramen with pork belly and cucumber salad(which I always recommend because its a perfect ramen companion, cold, crunchy and sweet) but the ramen noodles were fresh and chewy, the egg was *perfectly* cooked, the yolk still sightly runny, the broth was killer good, even for garlic ramen, I would buy it just to drink.They do something that I've never seen before, I enjoyed it very much but I know some wouldn't, they put a little pile of slivered pickled ginger on all their ramens, I think it gave it an amazing extra flavor but it was a very strong ginger taste when you got them in a bite.Overall amazing, highly recommend. Service was fast and friendly too!
Very good hole in the wall, open late and busy a 10pm, so you know it's a good spot. Servers were busy but attentive and very polite. Got the tuna roll that melted like butter when eaten (so good and tender) and I saw one of the cooks on break eating tempura platter so I ordered that out of principle that if the cook was eating it, it had to be good. Def did not disappoint and will definitely be back! So glad to have found a sushi place open later than 9pm! Thank you! ?
Service was friendly but the food just wast not great. It was our first sushi outing in Beaverton and will be our last to this location.
Don’t order the bagel roll, uni or the bluefin tuna. Horrible customer service. I never complain about my food, but I have never seen a roll with more cucumber and cream cheese than salmon. I politely asked the waiter if I could substitute it out for a lesser priced roll or a newly made one. She sent someone else over and he stated that because I ate it, they couldn’t take it back. Of course I ate it. I didn’t realize that it didn’t have any fish until after I ate the end pieces. We ordered 7 rolls, the uni and bluefin tuna. It’s not like we were trying to get one over on them. Then they asked if I wanted a box. I said no. The waiter then proceeded to tell me I might as well take it home. Horrible customer service/value for money. Also, the uni was dark and did not look fresh.
this is the most authentic place I've been. the nigiri to rice ratio is correct and they place the wasabi underneath. their blue fin o toro is perfect every time and so cheap considering the quality. Service is impeccable! Coming instantly to refill tea and replace dropped items. Louise or louis was also so incredibly helpful !! the bad reviews either lack any substance or complain about not knowing how to order. For example the person saying they only got a couple pieces ordered the most expensive cuts ... :/ plus if you come at rush please just expect to wait, it's not fast food.I only have gratitude for everyone that works there and puts such incredible effort into the food.
Glad they stay open later than most sushi restaurants in the area! Will need to go back and try the ramen since that’s what a majority of the people around us were eating. Mahalo Kigaru Sushi! ??
The portion was quite small but the fish was really fresh. We loved the grill squid and bluefin tuna sampler. The rolls were kinda plain but they tasted fine with soy sauce and wasabi. I took off one star because of the service. Service wasnt terrible but we didnt get water until 10 mins after placing our order. When the water was delivered, it was slammed on to the table and water spilled out. I understand that he was the only server there but there were only about 3 4 dine in tables. I've never before seen any server slammed water on the table and left in the hurry without saying anything.
Found my favorite kakuni ramen, best in oregon. My husband loves their sushi and we go back weekly. Good food and price reasonably.
Really good ramen. They have a little robot bring you your food and it’s cool looking. Besides that, food came out relatively at a good time and did not disappoint. Waiters are really respectful when waiting in your order.
I have a new go-to sushi restaurant! I tried Kigaru for the first time today and it definitely will not be the last.The nigiri was generously sized, fresh, and very tasty. The takocado roll (octopus and avacado) was an interesting option I haven’t seen elsewhere and really enjoyable. I also ordered some calamari and edamame off the app menu. Both great.The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and I was served by a robot for the first time in my life. Cool factor 10/10!
