The food quality has deteriorated significantly. Writing the feedback based on multiple bad experience.1) samosa chat - cold and no taste2) Chola butora - taste less3) Veg thali - super cold food except the naan. 2 curries out of 4 were freezingly cold. the rice was half cooked.Raised the point to serving staff - they mentioned that many customers are complain these days but the owner and cook just ignores the feedback.
Situated in Beaverton has good collection of Indian items covering grocery, fruits, vegetables, Pooja items, milk products etc . The display is very good and helps in selecting the required items. Restaurant section has delicacies of Indian origin.
Had chicken korma and butter naan. It was absolutely incredible! Casual environment, was quick, and the staff was super pleasant.
Amazing veg thali and superb Chole Batura …. Great veg and non-veg food. Tried thali for the first time and did not disappoint. We normally do takeouts and never been disappointed.
The fresh hot dishes I've tried are all excellent, full of flavor. Gobi Manchurian is a favorite of mine, and they make it crispy even through the heavy sauce. I visit often!
Food is amazing. Wish they didn't use styrofoam but the worst offence? In a global pandemic, the chef couldn't be bothered to wear a mask, which of course is legally required indoors. Cooking for a line of folks queued up on a Friday afternoon. Not only bad for business but literally bad for our health. Will be reporting to Washington County.
Bought samosas from them today and this what I get. Horrible. Not sure if somebody ate/crushed it and sold it later. I am surprised that they are still in business. AVOID!!!
Been here for the first time and I must say the food here is bomb?? ordered puri subzi, chhole bhature, alu tikki, pani puri, veg cutlet, tea and goat dum biryani (this was just for 2 people) I would highly recommend this restaurant and the grocery. We never expected the food will be so delicious. I must say they have an excellent chef. Would definitely drive an hour just to come and eat and shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
This is the only place I’ve found in Portland to get fresh fenugreek. The tandoori chicken kabob is fantastic, and the samosa chaat is huge and great and under $7.
Good indian chaat options available. Do try vegetable puff.
