The food was really good. I had the Kalua pork, which came with Mac salad and rice. They have a lot of seasonings you can add on for yourself. The snack portion was plenty for lunch and reasonably priced. The outside landscaping needs some clean up but the inside was clean.
I love Hawaiian food but this was the worse Hawaiian food. The macaroni salad had so much black pepper, the chicken was prep made not fresh. It was such an awful experience.
The food is delicious and I recommend it. I have been there a few times now, and each time has been enjoyable.

The food is not bad, but they can't even handle running their dining room, let alone a drive-thru. Customer service is not their strength. Seems like staffing is an issue.
This has been one of my go to spots for years now. Unfortunately I won't be coming back until beef is returned to the menu. I understand that times have caused costs to go up... but I wouldn't have any problem payment a bit extra.
Yummy teriyaki chicken and rice. This is one of those places that only locals know about and want to keep for them selves. Get in and try it and you'll see why.

Tried Hawaiian Time for the first time, they had a shortened menu because of supply chain issues, so we ordered the Kalua Pig plate, and the Huli Huli Chicken. Both were made to perfection, the Kalua Pig was just the right amount of salt and smoke, and the Mac Salad and Rice were both made right. The Huli Huli Chicken was also sweet, smokey, and just right!One complaint I've had with several of the Hawaii style restaurants I've tried here on the mainland is either the Kalu Pig is too dry, or salty, and the Mac Salad, or rice or both aren't done right ( guess that's more then one, but you get it, right?) This Hawaii Time did not disappoint. Although they were very busy, and short handed, the gal at the counter (wish I got her name) was extremely helpful, and polite.Bottom line, I highly recommend Hawaiian Time Beaverton, and look forward to trying their other locations.
