On a previous doctor's appointment in Beaverton, I stopped by Bed Bath & Beyond to get some pillow cases. The pillow cases, while nice Egyptian Cotton 620 thread count, they didn't fit my queen size pillows. So back to Beaverton for the return and stopped by Five Guys for a quick bite and keep an eye out for Bus 20 for my return trip to City of Roses.I ordered their grilled hotdog and small fries. Kudos to Five Guys for not charging for add-ons to their burgers and hotdogs. Added mustard, grilled onions and green peppers. The peppers were raw, so I picked them out. The hotdog was everything that Shake Shack's wasn't. Much better, served flat in the bun with tons of grilled onions, slathered with mustard. M'm, M'm good.Five Guys advertise their fries as "Famous", I thought they were more like McMenamins' greasy fries. Shake Shack's fries were more to my liking. One thing that caught my eye was complimentary in-the-shell roasted peanuts. I thought cool, until I saw a woman grab a handful instead of using the handy scoop and paper baskets next to the box of peanuts. Gross. Speaking of which, my table hadn't been wiped off after the previous customer. Service on a tray would be nice for indoor dining. Just saying.Grilled hotdogs must be a Beaverton thing, Portland should take nod from its western neighbor.
One of P towns' favorite, I imagine. First off, it looks clean, and the burgers are fresh grilled, shakes are SHAKES, fries-you-can-eat, peanuts still there. Second, the crews cool, from ring to call. Number three, they are at the corner of...
If you like your burger served with an attitude then this place is for you. Sorry I'm not a Five Guys expert Andrea but you don't need to be rude because we didn't know the "regular" cheeseburger comes with 2 patties. Most places state when a burger comes with 2 patties. Sorry I had to inconvenience you to do part of your job and change an order. Maybe FOH isn't your forte. Food review - burgers good, fries better than most, shake also better than most. I'd go to FG's again but not this location.
Great place great food! Love the people
great food service was great and cashier was patient with my child as he was deciding what he wanted
Fries are great. Burgers and toppings are fine. The problem is the buns. They don't hold up to the toppings and turn to mush in the time it takes to get your order from the pickup counter to a table.
Mid-gradr burger, soggy fries, and a 25 minute wait for food. Not worth the money or time.
This place is amazing. Staff is very friendly. I accidentally ordered double patties on our burgers because I thought "little" was kid's size. The patties are so good though. Very soft. The amount of fries we got was insane. We reheated them later and they still tasted good. We also had milkshakes. They are so creamy. I prefer going in and ordering so that I can to straight home to eat it. Every time I ordered for delivery, the buns were a big soggy and food is cold (nothing to do with Five Guys. My deliveries arrive over an hour after ordering). If you can pick up or dine-in, I recommend that you do that.
Delicious burgers. Seriously perfectly cooked and great burger to bun ratio. Staff is friendly. Burgers are expeeeeennnnsive though. 9.24 per! Worth it, but only every once in a while.
Decent shakes, above average burgers and fries. I like how they give you tons of fries almost regardless of the size you order. Sometimes staff is a bit snappy and unhelpful, but I go there for the food, not to socialize.
