The best. Period. I don't eat a lot of meat other than chicken and this has become my go to. Everything they do is locally unique and to the highest quality. The chicken is great, but the sides and sauces show that they really are great at what they do. The broccoli is the best I've ever had. And I love their pimento cheese spread. Wish I could buy it, and their sauces, by the gallon! And they always provide great service. And the building and location are great.
Ordered the boneless thigh and chicken wings! The fried chicken were really good, juicy and crisp on the outside. Chicken wings was okay. The cole slaw is less flavored. If I come back again, I would just order the fried chicken and tried the half chicken ?.
We finally used a $50 gift card we had to Big's Chicken in downtown Beaverton. With that plus $10, we each had a chicken sandwich meal. Mine was the Jerk Chicken with Jerk sauce, slaw, grilled pineapple on a Potato Bun and a side of Black Eyed Pea Salad. The jerk was just the perfect amount of heat for me. My husband had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a side of Jo-Jo's. One beer and one Cidar as we ate in. Just for fun we slurged on the Fried Mac and Cheese Balls with zesty ranch and Fresno Sauce. OMG, they were so good and gooey. Then to use all of the gift card and tip, we ordered 1/2 friend chicken to take home for later. It seriously reminded me of my Grandma Mina's Fried Chicken and brought back memories of helping her shake the brown grocery bag with flour and chicken. Mmmm Mmmmm good. Support Local!
Come on! Great Wings Great sauce. BWW is going down. Everything coleslaw jojos and wings were on par. They even gave my birthday son a free desert that he said was great. I'm picky and I give em a 10.
Friendly staff. Welcoming. Large enough for big parties. Making orders to make sure the customer is happy. Slightly pricy for ok portion sandwiches. Parking is a problem even on weekdays but you can park at the library and walk 5mn. Order at the counter then they will bring the food. A nice coffee shop is around the corner when you’re done with lunch or dinner. I recommend and I will come again
Big's Chicken is a spectacular spot in the heart of downtown Beaverton. beverage selection is somewhat limited but the food is both affordable and delicious. The location is nice and it has a few spots for outdoor seating. This has become one of my favorite spots for a quick drop in for lunch or happy hour.
Great chicken, amazing JoJos and their hot sauce is to die for!
This location is pretty spacious with lots of seating and also a few outside tables. We came for a quick snack and noticed that they have a happy hour menu now. We decided to get the hh wings, nachos, smashburger, and a whole grilled chicken. The food came out pretty sick and everything was pretty good. The happy hour is normally 2-5pm and all day on Mondays.
Friendly staff, tasty chicken. Family meal reasonably priced. Flavor and variety better than KFC and the like. Loved the black eyed peas cold salad, didn't think I would. Spuds and dipping sauces hit the mark. Grab a cold pint and enjoy :-)
