Ordered Veg Biryani, egg curry. Both Not authentic. Veg biryani has only basmati rice, no vegetables at all and most importantly no biryani related spices or condiments which is the fundamental ingredient of veg biryani. Same is the case with egg curry, no flavors ,spices or condiments related to the original curry base. Both tasted sweet. Biryani Quantity was less compared to the price.
This place is given >3 stars by people that are non Indian food eating folksOrdered pakoras which hardly had ANY flavor or tasteThe chutneys that were provided for free with free papadums had zero flavorAlso ordered South Indian dosa combo out of which the saving grace was idlyDosa was bland and so was the potato stuffingVada was re fried for the 100th time, it can be used as a rock or weapon to save yourself!!!!Mysore masala dosa has some chutney smeared on it which also lacked flavorSorry but people that don’t want any spice or flavor would appreciate the food here.
I had takeout here and this place doesn’t disappoint. Their Indian spicy wasn’t very spicy to me as it was just a little ouch on the tongue but the flavors are fantastic.Order- veggie koorma- yum. A bit on the sweet side.Lamb saag- love!!!!!!!
Food is very good ?. Our server is also very good. This is our first time back in about ten years. My husband used to live in the area and would eat here fairly often. After a move to Idaho it's been nearly ten years. They still have the best lamb saag. Today we also had the chicken curry ?. We also love the kheer which is served warm and flavored with cardamom. Thanks for a wonderful meal ?. We will be back! Just as an add FYI they are open until 9:00 but usually stop seating at 8:00.
My husband and I have been on a search to find a place as good as our favorite spot in Puyallup, WA since moving back to Oregon. We have lived here for over 3 years now and have tried place after place. Non of them even came close. This place however, was so good. I would even go as far as saying equally as good. I was so happy I could cry.Service was quick, the place was clean, and the food was excellent. We had to tell our 4 year old he didn’t need to eat anymore in fear of making himself sick.
Authentic Indian cuisine. Fast friendly service. Good quality food. Ambiance was ok. Small restaurant. Parking is tight. Overall experience was good. Will highly recommend!
Best Indian food chicken tandoori ? you should try it folks
Food was very good but one lady working was not very friendly and gave me a vibe like I was bothering her when I asked for a to go box. Loved the food tho
Probably the best Indian restaurant in the greater Portland area. Food is authentic and flavorful, not just masked with a whole bunch of hot spices where all you can taste is fire. The food has nuanced flavors. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Lately their customer service has also been really good. All in all, a really good place.
Haven't eaten here for 18 months. Quality still very good. No buffet but 3 lunch specials in addition to full menu
