We stopped here for breakfast before a soccer game. The kids enjoyed their waffles. My husband liked his eggs, sausage, and waffle okay. The staff was really friendly.
Batter up on Lombard in Beaverton was the place recommended by a friend and this is our first time eating here. Noon on a Sunday was sort of busy and when ordering we were informed it could be 20 minutes for our food. We were in no hurry so we ordered. I went with the Monte Cristo and seasoned waffle fries and my husband had MVP. Things could have been better, meaning the French toast for the Monte Cristo and the waffle for his sandwich could both have been cooked longer as neither were crispy at all. I would even say mine was a little mushy. But beyond that the inside was good and the fries were crispy. I'd go back again as the staff were friendly and they place was clean and had a Bar which we didn't explore. Everyone deserves a second chance. We'll be back. Go eat Local...
They took over the food hall and made it their own!! Amazing chili cheese dogs and drinks to compliment the food ?Absolutely amazing service. They have a regular now for sure
Very nice spot in Beaverton, they have a wide variety of waffles for any occasion, although some meat alternatives would be favored. We ordered the blueberry lemon, the batter was great and cooked to perfection, the portions were reasonable for the price. The staff were friendly and kind, which made up for the industrial style decor.
Navigation Note: If you're planning to come here, don't try to find the signage from the street. This little shop is in a shared restaurant court indoors. Look instead for the "Vault" signage to get you to the right place. Also, go early. Their Sunday Breakfast rush is the real deal.Preface: I love breakfast. Best meal of the day, and so versatile. So I'm always on the lookout for decent hole in the wall joints that offer a legit breakfast.Batter Up really met that need today. Quick service, no issue with the custom order (just leaving out the green onion garnish, but you'd be surprised how often that gets a negative response), fast prep yet fresh product, and overall positive attitude from the staff.Price is reasonable for sit down breakfast, menu options are surprisingly varied for the size of the shop, and I adored the mac and cheese balls.Only complaint came from my stomach as I clearly ate a wee bit too much by finishing my plate from the slightly larger than average portions (good bang for your buck here). :) Will definitely be back.
This food was definitely amazing!! Not doing anything for my diet lol but truly delicious! I will have another cheat day for sure!
We came in with a large group for breakfast. They’re a small shop but they handled 12 hungry water polo players without blinking an eye. Everything was delicious and the servers were friendly.
Wasn't impressed. The waffles were very dry and didn't taste that good and they weren't warmed up either so the butter couldn't melt on top which was gross tasting. It was way over priced at that place and you had to wait a long time to get your food. I won't be coming back and I definitely don't recommend to anyone to waste your time. I don't get why this place has so many good reviews, it's horrible!
the best spot in Beaverton of ya ask me
The “Ace” is my favourite breakfast waffle sandwich! and the Lollies were super delicious too. definitely going back for more.
