Coffee is good and reasonably priced and the interior is comfortable overall, with some nice re-design elements in the past year or so. Outside is enjoyable with plants and two water features plus tents for rain/sun and other tables that are open air.My challenges are that the wifi is not accessible outside (shows up but can't log on and has no bars). Inside they have reserved one of two restrooms for staff which can mean long waits during busy times. I certainly support the staff, however it seems that 3-5 people will not use the restroom nearly as often as the potential 15-30 customers that can be there.

This review is quite late as it is from many years ago but as a service industry worker I can guarantee you nothing changes that. I came into ava back in 2012, the environment was just beautiful. And I loved their vibe, their staff at the time was absolutely amazing. Super helpful for what I was undecided on. And their food and coffee was absolutely amazing. I drove past today in hopes that they were still open during the pandemic. I haven't been out in this area in quite some time. But I will be back very soon to enjoy their business again! Highly recommend even if this is a long time ago!

Editing my review from 5 stars down to 2 stars. Ordered a sugar-free Italian soda, confirmed when ordering that it was going to be sugar free. A different employee made the beverage. My subsequent blood sugar has shown that it was not prepared to me as sugar free, and I was nearly hospitalized.

Coffee is good, I often forget how easy it is to get a custom drink order there when I want it. I've never been made to feel uncomfortable here, even when I was sitting and writing/editing/illustrating for a couple of hours. This is a departure from some other shops I could mention, ones that are, of course, no longer with us.

I haven't been to the Beaverton location in a few months but sadly I'm disappointed in the cleanliness and service... I realize that staffing is tough right now, but having a clean space is a fundamental thing. It just was dirty... The employee making sandwiches, her hair was only partially clipped back and was practically touching the food. I'm actually glad I only grabbed a plain coffee. And the staff didn't seem to really care. This is not the Ava I expect or remember. I also don't remember the last negative review I've given.

I do smoothies well myself and am by extension, slightly picky, but I can't seem to manage a peach smoothie. This place nailed it and is in my top 3 smoothies of all time. Chicken Rustica was as good as you would expect from the ingredients. Fudge cake okay, pretty. Basically my thought is they excell at the less average, so if it sounds a bit more unique, like the first two, get it. I will be back.

Great coffee shop! Lots of delicious food and drink options and a great quiet place to read a book, write a book, or work remotely. Great outdoor space too with cover from the cold and a nice waterfall/stream feature as well.

Nice coffee shop! Lots of seating. Outdoor seating is really nice with fountain running that’s relaxing. I got a tea latte and it was cheap and delicious!

It's a nice looking place but I wouldn't go in person. I went in to get a drink while I wait for a family members appointment. I stood at the counter while a lady was doing something with her back turned. She turned and looked at me and then continued off to do some other task. It took about 2.5 minutes for them to day anything to me. I think I should have said something first but meh... it was more interesting to see how long it would take.Would have been 3 stars but the chai tea latte I ordered was not good. It tasted watered down. It wasn't terrible and it's not like the most common thing to order so no hard feelings there.I will go back next time I'm in the area. This time wasnt good though.

This is a very nice, large coffee shop with plenty of outdoor seating. It is located in downtown Beaverton and close to the farmer's market. They have a variety of cakes and bakery items as well.
