After reading reviews and multiple articles about this place I was pretty psyched to try it. There’s no ordering online which was a bummer. I didn’t love this place, I’ve had Korean Fried Chicken in WA and the chicken didn’t compare. The pieces were rather small and not as crunchy as I expected (maybe bc we got the order to go) flavor didn’t really pop either. The dumplings were decent, but nothing special. The Spicy Noodles were hot and greasy tasting. My favorite thing was the Korean Fried Hot Dog, reminded me of a big mozzarella stick, outside was crispy and inside was wooey gooey, hot dog was a little small, but it was the best part of the meal. Disappointed in this place, but maybe it was an off night?

Really great spot for Korean food! Randomly stopped in here while in the area and was really pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The ambience is the first thing that struck me, the lighting and music really create a fun mood. It's a bit of a small shop which adds to this sort of interesting atmosphere. As far as the food, it's really great. The spicy ramen is flavorful but not extremely hot. Everything was fresh, fast, and satisfying. The only negative part of the evening was that the Korean hotdogs were sold out, but that just means I'll have to check back in and try them another time!

Refreshing, not your typical breakfast menu. Food is well prepared with fresh ingredients, fruits, whole hazelnut, nutella, cheese and not heavy or sweet. Portion is right and well balanced! Will definitely return and try other dishes on their menu.

A cozy spot in Old Town Beaverton with many unique dishes that set it apart from all the other Korean restaurants in the area. Nowhere else can you get k style corn dogs, gochujang wings and bossam in one spot. All are delicious! The service is A+. Seating is very limited and wait times can get long so I recommend calling in and checking or stopping by to get on the wait list. There’s plenty of outdoor seating/tables and things to do in the area while you wait.

The food here is so good. My friend and I split four dishes all of which were spectacular. It's easily become one of my favorite places. Limited seating though, so be prepared for possible wait times.

A great place to get some late night eats with your friends/family. Although menu is not too too varying, they still offer great option to satisfy. (Their Corn Cheese is amazing). The only downsides is there not being too much space inside, which leaves only about 5-6 tables to sit nothing more than a party of 5. Still a great place, would def come back.

1st Street Pocha is where Du Ku Bee used to be. If you’re familiar with DKB, you’ll remember their hand pulled noodles. I was super sad to know DKB is gone. We ordered the soy garlic and spicy wings, Bossam, cheese corn, and a can each of the Taiwanese beer (lychee and pineapple). Let me tell you!!! The cheese corn had the perfect portion of mayo and cheese and the corn was sweet. The chicken wings are airy but crunchy with just the right flavor. Bossam: construct your veggie/meat wrapped in a cabbage leaf and don’t forget the sauce, sliced garlic and peppers. *chefs kiss* The Taiwanese beer was perfect and complimented the flavors of the food. Not sweet at all so if you’re hesitating to try it, just order it! I ordered the hand pulled noods to go and let me tell you…. amazing! I hesitate in posting this gem because I want it all to myself but good food must be shared. You’re welcome. ?

Love the food and atmosphere! Highly recommended if you want some Korean style drinking experience.

I like that Pocha is not just another Korean restaurant that serve similar dishes. They have Korean street food items that are unique in the area. Our group especially like the wings (both sauces were good), Korean style hotdog and corn cheese. The pork in Bossam was really tender. The dish was well prepared. But since we were not used to the dish, perhaps we didn’t know how to appreciate it.Spicy house noodle needed a little more flavor.Ramen was tasty. At the same time, tasted very much like the korean package ramen noodle. So I could make the same at home easily.Overall, we enjoyed the meal very much. Great ambience. We will come back to try other items.

Amazing!! The food, the service, absolutely amazing!! We need more restaurants like these in Portland. Really authentic korean style food. Thanks for opening the restaurant in Portland.Definitely my favorite Korean spot. Really recommend their chicken. Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu.
