I had a late, light lunch at Umami; a sushi sampler and a seaweed and organic greens salad. It was the best sushi and salad I've had, just perfect. The fish was such excellent quality and the rice was ever so slightly warm, it made all the difference. I don't know what was in that salad but it was a class above the exact same looking salad I've had before elsewhere.

I came ou randomly to this place T’offu curry; sooooo Good!! as i never tasted before, the staff is Lovely Totally recomend this restaurant

Several colleagues took me here for lunch while I was in town for work, and I was super impressed with everything! The menu is super interesting and has a variety of both unique and more traditional fare, and everything was delicious. The Mongolian Chicken, Futo Mak sushi, and salmon teriyaki were all amazing! Food came out quickly, but without losing any quality. Staff were friendly, and the ambiance laidback.

great creative and tasty rolls, esp the hamachi roll and the crunchy tiger roll nice fair priced sake list too great location also

We always love Umami. We aren't from the area and walking in weren't sure how it'd be, but staff is always friendly and the food is so good. We go all the time.

Consistently the best sushi ever. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Perfect service and atmosphere. We love Umami

Pad Thai was disappointing; for $18, it was basically noodles, chunks of tofu (points for being organic though) & mediocre flavoured sauce. Had meagre slivers of cabbage as “veggies”.I won’t stray from the sushi next time!

I loved it Boon the owner is super friendly, another one of my accounts and another one of my clean kitchen ones, which with any Asian food (because of the woks and the high temp on the oil) is pretty hard to do so that alone impresses me! Also I took my partner there to eat and we dropped a couple hundred to try about half the menu (I'm new to sushi so had to sample lol) everything we tried was very well prepared, yes there were things I didn't like but that was about my tastebuds not the food quality, (example, I didn't care for octopus, not because it was badly cooked I just don't apparently like it) all in all one of my top 5 restraunts to eat at in ashland! Also as a thank you for the work I did on thier suppression system he gave me a free sample of wagu (I think that's how it's spelled) it's a VERY expensive steak and apparently takes an entire day or two too cook but it was amazing!! It's the only place that I personally know of where you can get it, and if you can afford it, it's worth it!!:)

We were short on time and were in need of a quick bite. Umami provided that and more. The service was impeccable, the food was on point and we had a great overall experience even though it was a quick meal. Can’t wait to go back and check out more of their menu! For those who haven’t been, I highly recommend the Mongolian chicken.
