We went here for breakfast and liked it so much that we came back again the next day. Delicious pastries and a great variety.
The olive bread is so light and full of olives it is a delight! Next best is the seed bread. Eat with cheese, soup, or pasta--can't go wrong.
The best bread and pastries I’ve found in the region. The croissants are light, crispy and delicious. The various breads are amazing….that crust is so perfect. Various coffees are all top quality. Been my favorite cafe in Ashland for years. Regularly make the hour drive to sit with a coffee and a pastry out front and people watch.
We love to go to Mix and try new treats or just enjoy old favorites. One of us has to get a scoop of earl grey chocolate chip every time we go. Their coffee is always reliably good, I've never heard a bad shot there. The creme puffs and macaroons are fabulous as well. It can be pretty crowded in there so we usually take our treats up the hill to the park which is pleasant in the spring and summer.
Did a large order of lunch, coffee, and goodies for my coworkers, was delicious and satisfying all around. Would recommend 5 stars!
Woah!!!!1) ultra nice welcoming staff with happy eyes and a warm hello as soon as I opened the door.2) The servers were up beat & patient as a line was forming because I had to gaze at the beauty of the delightful pastries before me.3) they had great suggestions too & I hit it off with the person wearing a Pokemon beanie.Nice vibes & oh my goodness! The lemon meringue!! And the cream puff!!! And the chocolate pecan tart!!!! And the Earl grey truffle!!! Going back before I leave town. Oh so yea!!!! ????
My favorite bakery in the Rogue valley. They make macarons really well, delicious bread selection, pastries have a balanced sweetness and the coffee served is from a good roaster.Ice cream is fresh and usually they have a vegan option sorbet flavor in the summer.
Mmmmm. We were too late for the ham, gruyere and egg pie (all gone!). But honestly- the nice, simple ham & thyme baguette was just divine and I in no way felt disappointed! Delicious thin ham on a perfectly baked baguette, with a spread of thyme butter...sooo good. The salted caramel tart also showed the fine quality of baking here. Not too sweet, melt in your mouth buttery caramel, in a delightfully crunchy tart shell, with a layer of hardened chocolate on top- sprinkled with coarse salt, of course. Perfection. Why did we wait so long to go to mix bakery?!
When we come to Ashland this is our go to place for treats and coffee. Try the mini coconut cream pie's. (My favorite)
Definitely one of my favorite bakeries, I highly recommend the ham and thyme sandwich and the Earl grey chocolate chip ice cream.
