One of my favorite places to go in Ashland. Their drinks are phenomenal, their service is fast, and the owners and employees are awesome! Do yourself a favor and check them out ?
Never been disappointed by the staff or the drinks at Matcha Ashland! Rain or shine Matcha is a great place to go and escape the craziness of life and just take a little pause. With so many flavors and toppings to choose from, you’ll definitely find something just right for you! Hope you all stop by and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! ?
i like the fact that the matche greentea flavor was rich and satisfying without being too bitter and that i could adjust the level of sweetness. I picked 25% but depending on your taste you could do 50/75% too. There was a long line but I didnt wait long as the staff worked fast and friendly. Specious, comfy and fun plant and art everywhere. I saw people reading, playing board games and foosball. Also the drinks are authentic the matcha baristas know what they’re doing! ???? looking forward to going back for my next treat(s)!!
The place is very cute with lots of seating. Bright and airy. The ability to choose your level of sweetness is nice since that’s not often a choice you’re given. Game library is a nice touch. However, I was there recently and there were five employees behind the counter - 1 cashier, 1 dishwasher, 3 making drinks - and drinks were taking 20 minutes. They seemed very disorganized and confused - had to get the receipt back from one customer because they needed to look at the order again. The store wasn’t even that full. As someone who used to manage kitchens, this should be enough staff to get the job done. I think the manager maybe needs to do some retraining with the behind-the-counter operations. The staff were very nice and apologetic, but I felt bad because it seemed like they needed some leadership.
I’ve only tried the hokkaido milk tea so far but it was absolutely delicious. Creamy, slightly sweet, caramelized brown sugar flavor. The tapioca pearls were the perfect consistency, soft and chewy. I plan on trying more flavors! The place is decorated nicely and the music isn’t obnoxious. The black poodle Major is so adorable, I got to pet him!

This place is so great! Such an awesome addition to downtown Ashland. I brought my brother here and he loved it. It was so fun, and they have so many great tea and some non tea options as well. The ambience is wonderful and clean, and so is the staff. The woman who owns it is the daughter of the woman who owns North & East Co. which is by far one of my favorite shops in Ashland! Excellent job on this place!!
I am so happy Matcha Boba House opened in Ashland. Bright atmosphere to get a drink. I have tried a few different drinks but my favorite is a hot match with milk and Boba.
Cute little boba house with beautiful plant decor. Their boba is great and they have lots of choices for milk tea and jellies. Definitely a fun upbeat spot!
