Pretty room and a more formal dining spot than usual for laidback Ashland. Good food, complex, vaguely French and New American menu with a lot of entrees with a lot of sauces. Very tasty array of greens, cheese, veggies and meats from local farms. Great service, good for date night. Yes to outdoors dining but sidewalk tables outside seemed noisy.
This was such a wonderful experience….from cocktails to dessert. We had the cider brined pork chop with polenta and the field greens salad. Everything was delicious. Service and ambiance excellent. Great dining experience!!
Convenient to the Ashland Springs Hotel, we made reservations and were seated immediately. Terrific meals, dessert, and glasses of wine. Attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
We had room service at the hotel. Lark's Meatloaf, soup, and a bottle. The meatloaf was dense and tasted old and lacked any sort of visual or flavor appeal. Everything else was basic except the Pinot and soup (was really chili). We were excited for this meal after reading about the restaurant and chef but it was embarrassingly disappointing and wasteful. The hotel was incredible, though!
OMG. We chose Larks as our celebratory dinner after completing a movie project. The chipotle cheddar grits were orgasmic. The portion under my perfectly cooked seared salmon was abundant, and i was euphoric as I savored every bite. Very flavorful. Nice and hot. Filling. Comforting. I usually never eat starchy indulgences like that. The asparagus was also grilled with oiled and seasoned to perfection. The cabernet sauvignon with my meal was perfect. The gluten free bread--as a gluten free person who rarely ever eats bread!--was absolutely divine! The flourless chocolate cake and small scoop of ice cream was delicious and a very rare indulgence in dessert for me. The service was excellent by our server, Patty, along with several other staff members who visited our table to deliver food and information. The ambiance was beautiful and our mother loved the Larks bird/mirror artwork on the walls. A superb, five-star experience! Oh, and the price of the meal would have been double or triple in a bigger city! Definitely put Larks on your list when you visit Ashland, Oregon!
A wonderful experience, we love coming here and they made the Birthday Celebration super special. They did not rush us and we could enjoy an amazing meal in a calm, classy way!

Quaint setting with wonderful food and decent wine list
Great food and ambience. Wait person was helpful and spaced out our courses nicely. Whilst we often eat out, this place was special for the very high quality of the excellent food. Also, nice tables and a good bar. Highly recommend.
