We had the best cabin in a beautiful place. It was I'm December and we enjoyed the snow. Excellent food, good people.
Haven't stayed at cabins, but my riding buddies and my wife and I stop often when riding to eat at the coffee shop! Great food, good prices and very friendly waitresses.
What a wonderful vacation spot. Our cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked with games, linens and kitchen supplies. The service staff is very friendly. The restaurant food was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality.
I decided to come up and have lunch. They use to have the best pizza and I would drive all the way up here just for that! This was the first time since pre-pandemic that we've had lunch at the resort. I was extremely disappointed! I ordered a pizza and asked them not to put a certain ingredient on. When the pizza came I could tell right away that they changed the ingredients. The pizza crust looked like one of those pre-packed pizza crusts that you can get any any grocery store. And the cheese looked extremely waxy. After I grabbed a sliced I noticed it had the ingredient I asked to be excluded from the pizza. The lady said she needed to check with the chef. She came back and said it was her fault and wanted to know if I wanted to keep the pizza and pick off the toppings or have it sent back. Seriously??? Pick off the toppings??? I didn't pay $20 for a pizza to "just pick off the toppings". I told her I wanted a new one. So we had to wait another 20 minutes for the new pizza and the cook brought it out to our table. He told us sorry it was late but he forgot about it in the oven. The pizza was extremely crispy. And then he proceeded to have a slight attitude about the fact that we sent the pizza back. I also got a Straberry Daiquiri. It was pretty much a strawberry shake. I couldn't even taste the alcohol. I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. Especially since they use to have such good food.
We had a awesome time. Everyone working was friendly to us while we were there. Will be going back.
We love this place in winter! We always take our dogs with us and a sled!Sled!! Great service and food!!! And LOVE the hot tub!!!

The snow is the star here. Not too much human activity today. But always worth being here… Always.
We’ve stayed here twice now. Both times the folks who work at the resort are super friendly. We stayed in cabin 14 over New Years and we just stayed in cabin 8 over the weekend. Cell coverage and wifi is poor. Know that ahead of time and plan accordingly. The restaurant and store have slow wifi but it works. Cabin 8 itself had wifi but it was slower than you’re used too. Cabin 14 did not. All the cabins have hot tubs. Some are private some are not. Cabin 8 has an awesome covered deck and it was super quiet on that side of the park. We’re thinking about going back again for New Years. The food at the restaurant is fine. Pizza and prime rib are good. The lake is empty. Empty. So don’t go for the lake you’ll be disappointed. Go for a quiet place to spend some quality time with your special someone and have a nice meal served by friendly folks.
