WOW.....I don't know who said this place was good!, Definitely must have been use to fancy taco bell. How do you serve pre-made jalapeno poppers?? And the Audacity to serve tacos and tostada's on taco bell shells ???♂️?♂️...only in town for a few days will not be back here EVERRRRRRRRRR....And wayyy over pricey!! ???...PLEASE DON'T WASTE UR TIME!! And one more thing!....20 minutes to get drinks when restaurant is empty is horrendous!!!!
Since we were staying at Holiday Inn Express, we decided to try El Paraiso since it was close by. Service was okay - the chips and salsa came fast, waiter took his own time to come by to take the drinks and food order. We were never given the drinks menu. My wife had the Strawberry Margarita and it tasted only strawberry. Tequila was totally absent. The food preparation was fast and our hot plates came quickly. Food was just passable, nothing great.
Workers were breaking up concrete as we entered the restaurant. We saw other patrons and assumed it was a momentary project, but it wasn’t. We had nice margaritas and ordered the Taco Salad and Arroz con Camarones. My wife enjoyed the salad very much. I thought my lunch was pretty tasty. We plan to return and order different entrees and see if they taste even better in a more quiet setting.
Traveling through Oregon on my way to Vancouver I decided to stop for a bite. I'm giving this restaurant 1 star because the chips and salsa were good. The food on the other hand, not good. Having a Mexican wife and visiting Mexico often I can tell you that the only authentic thing here was the waiter, who was nice. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. The plate I ordered was the combo with enchilada, taco, and chile relleno.
HUMMM..I don't like to say.. however.... The last two times have not been good...?... I ordered 2 fish Taco dinner's.... The grilled fish was cold and dry and the fried fish was hard cold and dry...My tostada was a 5--- I thought it came out a little too quickly I think I'm going to be finding another Mexican restaurant..sorry. I tried to order online but I couldn't figure it out so that I would be able to get the $5 off.. but the hostess accepting my order was not receptive to accepting my concern. ??♀️..
This was our second visit. On our first visit we ordered nachos with ground beef, and instead we received nachos with large clumps of pre-cooked shredded beef, another option on the menu but not what we ordered. On the second visit we ordered nachos with ground beef again. The nachos came out quickly, within a few minutes. There might have been a teaspoon full of ground beef on the nachos, but it was hard to tell without a magnifying glass. Obviously, these meals are slapped together quickly with little attention to detail. If you want good Mexican food with freshly cooked ingredients, I advise you to look elsewhere.
Very good lunch spot except for some raw onions on my chicken quesadilla...
