Great first dine in experience waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Appetizers were perfectly cooked and portion size was more than sufficient. Our main entrees hit the spot! Flavorful and delicious. Will recommend to friends and family thank you.
The servers are always very sweet & on point, whether dining in or ordering to go. Great for a quick simple roll & not overpriced - favorites include Bonsai, Sunset, Spicy salmon & yellowtail. Highly recommend chicken teriyaki which is marinated & cooked properly & is very tender with delicious flavor.
Been here 3 times, food was okay nothing special but the service has been horrible. The first time the waitress was so scattered brained but I shrugged it off since she seemed new. The 2nd time we were rushed out as we were trying to finish our meal. The last time I tried to eat here they wouldn't even sit us since they were going to close soon. Most restraunts usually have their hours adjusted for the last time they can seat someone. I know I eat dinner at an usually later time of 8pm but haven't run into a place that says they close at 8:30 ever turn me away before.
The food was decent but there was a roll of sushi that tasted sour and off so we asked for a replacement and the manager/cook got loud and disrespectfully said no and commented that no one else was complaining. Horrible way to treat costumers.
Food was fresh and fabulous. Service was efficient and quick. Also reasonably priced. Will come again next time I'm in Medford.
Had great food and an amazing atmosphere, very nice place to relax and just chill. The beef I had was small and I was still hungry but it had amazing flavor and went really well with the rice, the salad was fresh and alot bigger than I had expected. My coworkers had gotten the 32 inch boat and they said it was absolutely amazing and priced well for 4 people to share
All the bases were covered. We really enjoyed our lunch of Salmon Bento and various sushi. The bento had a fine salad, crispy gyoza and moist salmon. My Spicy Tuna Maki was classic, the veggie roll was a great mix and the ebi nigiri was simplicity supreme. The Nigori Sake was sweet and smooth. Our waitress was delightful and the prices were fair. I had read comments about the atmosphere, but we all have to accept responsibility with what we as customers bring to the equation. I am already thinking about my next visit.
Had the bulgogi. So good! They have a wonderful selection of Japanese, Korean, and Thai food. Very good stock in their tonkotsu ramen. We'll come back next time we're in town
I got take out from here while traveling through the area. I ordered using a delivery service, and my food was actually delivered when they said it would be! I had the spicy pork with rice. It was so yummy! The portion size was way too big for one person. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be trying this place again when I'm in the area!
Ordered take out last night. It was excellent! It was a wonderful treat. Everything was fresh.I've never had a bad meal at Bonsai, but this visit seemed better. We'll be back.
