Truly the best little diner in the area. I ordered a 1/4 pounder with a side of fries and a peanut butter milkshake. My friend ordered a tostada. We split the food and learned both were prepared well in equal measure. This was clearly fresh beef for the burger, well prepared and incredibly savory. The milkshake was maybe the best I've ever had, the perfect thickness, taste, and temperature. Also they serve fry sauce without request, which not a lot of places do.
It's a great place with great people.The foods I have and half mixed of 1.American; burgers, fries, and classic shakes.2. Second half is a blended mix of American-Mexican cuisine tacos, fajitas, and tortas (mild gristle factor).Enjoy
Service is quick, high-ceilinged diner-style interior is both airy & cozy (even money on whether the unpatched rips in the booth foam are a feature or a bug).Burger is tasty, toppings fresh. Bun integrity is below average - it didn't disintegrate entirely, but it did flop. Fries were good-grade commercial shoestrings hot out of the fryer, with salt & pepper plus mystery seasoning on the table.Overall a satisfying meal, reasonably priced in today's market.
Was pretty surprised to see this place had 1 star reviews but after reading them am realizing the people who left them definitely SUCK. This place is great, I have eaten here for 6+ years and it's always consistent, the prices haven't gone up like everywhere else in this town, and the service is excellent. They have never once messed up my food. The food is solid, it's not the most swanky establishment in town, but it's cheap, fast and delicious.
Ordered a Philly cheese steak. The cheese was on bottom and the cheese was cold. I asked if they could melt it, she told me no. I then asked for my money back on the order. She then gave me the money for all the food. Everybody I was with got no food. A lady next to us said she asked if they could cut her daughters burger, the business gave her a plastic knife, which was very flimsy.Very unprofessional, customer service was horrible.
Very good hamburger and onion rings. The vanilla malt was excellent. Upon visiting another time they gave my order to someone else then insisted I accept the food. This behavior during a pandemic is indefensible. Who knows if this has occurred with other patrons, I was just Lucky enough to catch this. Very uncooperative employees, shame on Big Al's.
I love coming here. It's such a classic spot. Great people, delicious food from an extensive menu, and make sure you get a milkshake they are not to be missed.
Their Chile Verde is great. Just wish I could get it in a burrito. The top sauce makes it.
Really good food, with big portions. We had a steak burrito,chili burger and a kids hot dog. Super friendly and helpful employee.
First trying out Big Al's and was amazing from the first step inside the door.I was greeted with a smile how ya doing and what can I get for you today.The food was just as good as it sounded on the menu.I had the ABC burger comes with fresh avocado ,onion,lettuce,bacon,burger patty, house mustard sauce and mayo .It was delicious the bacon was cooked just right and just the right amount crisp to it.Also got a order of chili fries and they we're just as good .Also got a bacon burger that came with everything ABC burger except minus the avocado .Oops don't forget the great shakes and maltdEverything was overall great. Great service great food definitely be back.
