Wonderful flavors. Homemade chips and salsa but the nickel and dime-ing is pretty heavy. $6 for a shrimp taco and they come with three little shrimps. A couple oz of salsa for a party of four means I’m getting up several times to ask for more salsa… and then chips. It’s a fine restaurant in a good location, but the portions leave me hungry.
Is this not technically cultural appropriation?Food was not great, bland. My expectations were not that high due to the olives on the tamales.
Quiet little place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great menu for mixing vegetarians with carnivors and everything was fresh and well seasoned. Will definitely be back.
Spent $26.00 on 2 small shrimp taco with no sides and a Torta sandwich that had too much butter on the bread and a skimpy amount of avocado. The cabbage salad was terrible. They have no burritos or flour tortillasto substitute for corn
The food was outstanding, I had a carne asada torta and a tamale. Both were amazing!
When we make our annual trip to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, Agave is our first night's dinner. We always begin with Margaritas, which are generously poured and get the party started. An order of guac and chips comes next, perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and fresh. We've tried most of the dishes, either at supper or lunch: tamales, tacos, pizole or chicken tortilla soups, enchiladas--it's all great, fresh, filling, and the service is quick and attentive. This is real Southwest food prepared with care, in a casual, friendly atmosphere. We pay a lot more for other restaurants in Ashland, but never enjoy anything more than our visit(s) to Agave.
This place is perfect! Really good food, quick friendly service, and decent prices. Really love their vegetarian pozole and fish tacos!
I love dining on their patio, and the inside is cozy and sweet. Their team is top of the line and their food is so satisfying!
Fresh fish tacos were ok but not worth 20 bucks food is poor
Portions are on the smaller side. The shrimp cocktail is served in an ice cream triangle cup. Super small with maybe five shrimp. The tacos have cabbage as well as the side salad. I would of enjoyed something differnt. Maybe in texture or flavor to switch up the taste to wake up the palate. Everything tasted the same nothing really stood out. Although over priced I probably would stick to the tacos. Taste wise its ok. But not a go to when I am really hungry!
