Really not good. "Vegetable" side was just steamed cabbage with a couple slivers of carrot with no flavor. I got sweet and sour chicken that was overcooked and the sauce was incredibly tasteless, just tasted like sugar syrup. My wife's teriyaki chicken was likewise overcooked and very flavorless. Never experienced a teriyaki place with such bland food.
This was my first visit here. Nothing great. Chicken was too charred and they actually charge you .50 for a small extra teriyaki sauce which i thought was kind of ridiculous when the side they give you is tiny to begin with.
Been coming here since 2008. Always got good grub.
The girl at the counter was extremely nice, and the food was delicious. Very good portion sizes for the cost - I got the beef bento box at lunch
Amazing chicken! The teriyaki chicken was cooked to perfection! Juicy and tender and SO GOOD! I will definitely be back! My hubby said his gyoza things were a bit dry but I think it was because he had to wait a while to eat them. I’m sure if he would have had them fresh, they would have been better! Best teriyaki chicken I’ve had in a while! Delicious!
Service was good, lady was friendly. I ordered the C2, and it was just dry and gross. No extra teriyaki sauce to be had. My wife’s T2 wasn’t any better. Dry mushy yakisoba, and dry chicken. 50 bucks for food we threw away.No sauce anywhere. Won’t be back. Cool downtown location.
My husband liked the food and said it was pretty amazing.
I have been ordering from here for over two years now. It’s my favorite place in Albany. Their food is always delicious and I find myself craving it all the time. You can’t go wrong with ordering from here. Thanks for always hitting the spot!
We went in for the first time to try the restaurant out. We attempted to hold a conversation with staff but was unable to maintain any customer service skills with them. The place was dirty with dead flies in the window and dead leaves from the trees in the place on the floor. The food was cafeteria quality at best. Rice was cold and too sticky, chicken was burnt, and sauces had a weird flavor to them. I gave two stars only because of the attempt at a conversation by the cashier.
I love teriyaki places... but I ordered the beef teriyaki and it wasn't like any beef teriyaki I've ever gotten... honestly very disappointed after my wife told me this place had amazing reviews.... if I could give 0 stars I would.....and honestly would stick to their chicken teriyaki if you go here. Since it's more like traditional teriyaki.... I dont expect a ton of soggy onion and stuff in my BEEF TERIYAKI......
