I went at ~5:30 and was seated almost instantly with a party of two. It is a very small shop but not too crowded. I would not recommend going while very busy because there is not a lot of seating. I got the signature ramen with tofu and it was very good. The broth had and nice taste and wasn’t too hot temperature wise. It was overall good experience and I would go there again.
The best ramen place in Albany… but the thing is they can be really salty. But I mean, generally they are good. You will want to drink a lot of water after you have their ramen, other than that … food are pretty good on this price.
Great food, great service short wait times. We go there very often for their Ramen and we are hooked. Would of gave 5 stars but the pork could be a little bit better, we prefer pork over chicken and several times the pork was just strips of fat nothing else. Doesn't ruin the experience but leaves a bit more to be desired.
Not super pumped about this place. I ordered some food for pick up and it was a bit overpriced for what I got and I'm down to pay good money for good food. First of all it was slightly cold, though I came pretty quickly to pick it up at the time they said it would be ready. Secondly, not only was the pad thai like a very bright yellow color that I've never seen in pad thai before, it was super greasy/oily, smelled strongly like fish, and was missing the ground peanuts which is a main facet of this dish normally. It tasted okay I guess but every time I put a bite to my mouth I could smell this strong fishy smell (im guessing fish sauce which is normal but maybe too much?). I also got yellow curry chicken which genuinely just tasted like chicken bouillon and nothing else and was also watery. The crab puffs were alright but they gave me like an ounce of sauce for 6 of these things which did not end up being even close to enough and again, they were almost cold. For what I paid I was not stoked and will likely be looking for better Thai food in the future. Looking at other reviews afterwards im seeing a pattern (cold food, greasy) and am hoping they hear their customers and step it up a bit at some point but until then, no thanks.
We Love Simply Ramen : ) We've only been there twice so far in 1 month and wished we lived closer so we could go once a week! The 1st time we ate in the restaurant and it was very nice and clean. The server was excellent and the chicken fried rice, vegetable tempura and Thai ice tea was out of this world, YUMMY : ) The 2nd time we got take out and the service was very quick. The waitress Jasmine was awesome and so sweet! This time we tried the pork fried rice and pork egg rolls. And of course the Thai ice tea, another thumbs up! Thank you Simply Ramen and we can't wait to come back.
Simply, AMAZING!The food was soooo good! The portion sizes were large, the flavor was outstanding.The people working were super nice as well!I can't wait to go back!
My kids took me here over Winter Break. The food was awesome. I loved the way the items were served and the ingredients were top quality. This is a place I want to return too. Excellent service and food makes for a great experience.
Great food ,good pricing! We got there about 430pm and the place was empty with the exception of a few people waiting for phone in orders to go. I had the fried rice with shrimp, pork, and chicken . It was good and the portions are BIG !!! I always have an impossible time trying to eat it all, but leftovers are great the next day too . Am I right ? Who complains about having left overs ? Not this guy ! You should try it too !
Pretty good food kinda expensive. Restaurant was clean and organized. Staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant is pretty small. Food was fresh. We are looking forward to try something else on the menu soon. I wouldn't recommend the rice noodles. They aren't very good. I recommend putting chili oil and soy sauce in your Ramen.
Surprisingly good. Generous portion. Tasty ramen with good toppings. Salt & pepper tofu was nice & spicy. Glad we stopped here for lunch.
