On my recent visit to this Red Robin location, our server Cade was unattentive to our table outside of ordering our food. I ordered my typical delicious Mushroom Swiss Burger but my guest with me ordered a Chicken sandwich and it was a hot mess. I had to stop another server by the name of Abigail to have my food brought to me for an unknown reason when the restaurant wasn't that busy, I appreciate her helping our server. But later having to flag down someone for drink refills isn't what I typically need to do, especially when the server keeps walking by to help other guest; surprisingly the manager was the one that assisted us. I would rather go to another Red Robin location where I know I will receive better Customer service.Also, I should note they don't honor "Red Robin Corporate coupons or specials at this particular location. "
My family and I went to Red Robin tonight and won't be returning. At least, not to the Albany location. Upon walking in, we were the only ones but waited close to 5 min to be seated. After being seated, we waited more than 10 min before our waiter came to the table. He only came to our table because the waiter for the table next to ours told him we were waiting. We ordered our drinks - 2 waters, 1 coors and 2 apple juices for the kids. My husband and I got our water right away. I asked about the kids juice 10 min after receiving ours and was told the bartender was very busy and she'd get to it as soon as she could, along with my husband's beer. Juices and beer didn't arrive until about 5 min before our food. Our waiter ran around like he was very busy, but spent most of his time at the computer.He checked on us once after we got our food but didn't come back again until we requested to pay.We hadn't been to Red Robin during covid and were pretty disappointed that our service was so poor.Food was decent, though.
I had a wonderful experience at the Reb Robin in Albany! My servers Alex and Cedar were amazing, so friendly and helpful. I also met Haley and Abby who were very nice when quickly running our food out. The drink Taylor made was phenomenal when I started in the bar after Nicole greeted us with such warmth! They have an amazing staff, I am definitely coming back!
Great burgers and our server, Taylor, was wonderful! Birthday lunch & she was just so patient & terrific.
I love how affordable, around $10-14, for a very filling meal with bottomless fries, broccoli, or chips at dinner is a affordable option to take family and friends. I really like it for keto or gluten free options as well (if you like burgers). It is very consistent with the food being fresh and good.
Our party of three was seated at 230pm on a Saturday. Place was PACKED ... NO marks on any patrons, NO social distancing, NO empty tables, watched bus boy bus a table and yes he wiped it down with a wet rag but far from any sort of disinfectant... crowded hot mess ... every warning bell went off ... we ended up leaving and getting Carl's Jr. Takeout from drivethru.
No refill on the coffee, asked for the hot chocolate to be cooled down for the small child and it was served hot, and just really poor service in general. The food is fine, nothing special. Only went there because we'd been given a gift card and it's the only reason I'd go back.
