I am no sure if this isn't the best BBQ brisket I have ever eaten. I have been to the County Line in Austin and this is as good and maybe better. No joke. The brisket is soo tender and the bark is superb. Interesting potato salad, very good. The baked beans need less brown sugar and more paprika and some lemon zest. Overall, outstanding.
It's good BBQ. Portions are fine for the price. Side selection is better than average. The potato salad isn't very flavourful but has nice chunks of bacon or pork in it. Only complaint is a tendency to run out of products some days it's down to only one or two meat options and half the sides by late afternoon.
I feel it's my civic duty to stop at local bbq joints and while it wasn't bad it wasn't really any good either. The meat was adequate, the sauce was average at best nothing really special. If you are a bbq person just keep on driving.
First time here. The BBQ was very good, moist and flavorful. I had ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket. Along with corn, baked beans, chicken chili, chips. They were out of several things on the menu; chicken, turkey, potato salad.. etc. I picked it up for dinner.. maybe it was late in the day already. I will try them again hopefully they will have more options available.
So normally you are hands down 5 stars. Unfortunately yesterday I bought a pound of brisket that was inedible.I’m not sure what had happened but the meat was all salt. I feel like there was a mix up in the rub because that’s not a natural flavor. I tried to tame the salt flavor down but I could not. I’ll still return and recommend but I wanted you to be aware that this had happened.

We found this place while traveling from WA to CA. We wanted some food, but didnt want to stop at a fast food joint. The reviews seemed good, so we thought "what the heck". We are glad we chose this place! The brisket was pretty darn good! It was a little hard to eat as a sandwich. So we just used our fork to eat it and ate the bread as a side. The potato salad was good. A little more mustard then I normally like. But was still good. The cole slaw was also good. Not too sweet or too sharp. The brisket was tender, juicy and full of smoky goodness! We hope to be able to come again the next time we are traveling through the area! They also have a nice little outdoor eating area.
This place has some ridiculously delicious brisket! I was in Albany for 10 days for work, staying at a nearby hotel, was tired and wanted some take-out to just eat hack at my room, so I stopped here on a whim when it popped up on Google. I got the ribs and basket combo witb beans and coleslaw. It was so delicious that I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town for work.
Cheap price but food could've been better. The chicken with mushroom cream isn't as good. Chicken was too dry when your eating it but the mushroom cream is nice.
Great BBQ this is not. Great BBQ meat is smokey and tender, so delicious that putting sauce on it seems sinful. The meat was moist (the chicken was dry) but lacked a bark and was not smokey enough. Great Sauce is smokey, a little sweet and a little spicy with a tangy irresistible zing. Great sauce is so good you must put it on something. This sauce was obviously purchased in a can, cold, thick and syrupy, lacking in any complexity. It's more like fancy ketchup. People raved about the potato salad but we found it tasteless. The BBQ beans tasted like someone spilled hand sanitizer in it. They were inedible and we threw them out. I regret pulling off I-5 for this. I hate to leave a negative review but I gotta keep it real.
