I arranged to go an hour before I went to work because they take forever. I asked for extra ice and I didn’t get it so I went back. Got all the way across town to find out that they didn’t get my burger right either. At this point I had 15 minutes to get to work. I really want to like this place but the people at the window seem very unhappy, they take too long and they always get my order wrong. Crushed ice isn’t that important
This place is an American classic burger drive through joint. From amazing milkshakes to iconic food. Jusr know it takes time to get through so don't expect it to go McDonalds fast. Everything is cooked at order.If you passing through Albany please take the time and treat your self to the experience. We discovered Tasty Freez as students at OSU in Corvallis. My wife had a friend that grew up in Albany and she took us over there one day for lunch.Happy travels and good luck at the game of life :)
This is a great little spot and we love visiting Hasty Freez. The food is not five-star, but totally worth what you pay for it. The youthful staff work hard and we like supporting this local restaurant. They can get very busy so we tend to call ahead and place an order just to give them a hand and to speed things up for us. Their soft serve is some of the best in the area.
Honestly I’m fave and I love them before Coved -19 today I just ordered chicken burger and cheese burger only and fries.The fries it’s so bad and salty and it’s so hard to eat . The burgers both of them tested like bad quality.I wish you guys started bring high quality meat and let who cooked the burger and fries be focused not talking and chilling because that makes the business keep you go down.Wish you the best luckHappy new year
Last time we were there the burgers were horrible..meat tasted old,gross tomato and lettuce very little burger sauce.They really need to go back to the original recipes and not slop everything together..Improved customer service would be a plus..no longer worth the drive from Salem..We now have IN N OUT..reliable,friendly and consistent
The shake box thereHas immensely powerful thickness. Ordered the kings cheese burger and fries with a root beer milkshake.I have not been at a burger place that rivals how smacking these things are.

Every delicious bite is filled with both nostalgia and flavor. Takes me back 35+ years! Same great burger as always, and same delicious fries. Don't forget to try one of there tasty corn dogs as well!
As usual it was a busy place but worth the short wait. Today was just some soft serve ice cream but service was quick and friendly. It is a small place with take out only but worth checking out.
Their burgers and fish sandwich are so good! The fish sand has a crispy crunch to it. Love Hasty Freez!
