The food literally took an hour to get to our table but overall the food was really good and we will be returning
Being generous with giving 3 stars…If you’re looking for good Italian food look elsewhere. We were a small group (4) celebrating my husband’s birthday on a Sunday - had to wait 30 minutes to be seated (they don’t take reservations) not because they lacked tables but because they had no staff. After being seated we waited several minutes before our server arrived. We ordered our courses but specifically asked that we NOT receive them at the same time; however, during our appetizer course, the salads arrived. The salad deliverer (not our server) gave us a very snotty look when we asked her to take them back. Our main courses were so-so. I ordered the scampi, which was awful (bland, more pasta water than sauce and the noodles were HUGE): I only ate the over-cooked shrimp. Another in our party ordered the very basic spaghetti with garlic and olive oil - the noodles were dry and the “sauce” was an after thought. This place could be a gold mine, but clunky service, inattentive staff and just plain lousy food won’t prompt us to visit this restaurant again.

Its about time I had a really good meal and good service too. Home made pasta, good wine! What more do I need to say. This was a great lunch.
I have not had a bad experience here. Cocktails are refreshing and different and the food is great. What will really blow you away is the soups and salads of all things. Highly recommend it, especially for lunch when the rush is a little less.
OMG!!! This was absolutely one of the best places ever to have Italian food! So much Flavor and the place is just so beautiful!
We've always had great experiences at Gamberetti's and have been coming here for years. Their food is delicious, and I appreciate that they have lots of vegetarian options (their vegetarian meatballs are amazing!). Service is consistently great, and we enjoy the atmosphere. Albany is lucky to have such a yummy Italian place!
Nice little place in Albany. Good service. This was an excellent beet and avocado salad and adding the shrimp really made the dish. I don't come through Albany often but Gamberetti's will be at the top of the list the next time I do.
Another amazing meal. Always the best food and the best staff.
