It’s a cute little place!! Food and drinks are good!
Food was great and service, also.
Had the filet New Orleans. Best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in years. I will definitely be back soon and ordering again
Food was excellent, wait staff was excellent, presentationcould have been a improved upon but besides that we were very pleased. It would have been nice to have had a menu with a few pictures but we managed to find our way to some great choices anyway. I had the crawfish trio which was excellent and I would definitely do it again. We as a group enjoined boudin balls, crawfish dip and fried gator appetizers. All three were a huge hit. Unfortunately none of us were able to try the drink menu this visit. That will be a goal for the next visit.
The food was so so. I had blackened chicken pasta. The chicken was okay but pasta sauce was very thin and watery with no taste. The bread they served was cold with no butter or anything on it. B had the seafood pasta that was flavored with paprika and that was about it. It was not Good. Very disappointing!
So good! Service was great as well!
Great food! Delicious! Was just shocked to see three staff standing at the door while two other staff did all the actual work, making service and food delivery very slow. The restaurant was only half full and we had to wait 15 minutes just to get menus and water. Also, not a single staff person was wearing a mask, which is required for food service industry at this time!!! But we may go back some time.
We went to the big easy for my grandfather's birthday dinner, we will never go again. We had 2 entree that where horrible, one was an etouffee that was bland, un-spicy, and did not taste like etouffee in any description of the dish. The other was a platter with etouffee (just as bad as the first) and red beans and rice, which was cold and bland, the 3rd dish on the platter was a small bowl of gumbo. Sadly 3rd times the charm was not the case as it was, as the rest of the dishes, cold and bland. We pointed out all of the faults to our waitress who cut us off continuously in our sentences and took the food back and agreed to discount the dish. However possibly the most infuriating part of the evening (even with the horrible food) was the bill, which after the discounts and deductions, turned to be $165, for this price we suggest going to trappers, it is the same price for 10 times better food.Needless to say we will not be returning to the restaurant, and I advise that all seeking the taste of cajun look elsewhere.
I do not recommend this to anyone looking for true Cajun food. The Etouffee was basically gravy with vegetables, no taste at all. The food was extremely bland over all. Their red beans and rice was cold. The catfish breading was soggy, no crisp at all. The cheese dip was awful. Overall just a disappointing trip. To be honest Chilis Cajun Chicken Pasta has more flavor. I would definitely recommend going to trappers, razzoos, or crab town especially considering the bill will be about the same.
