LOVE this place! It has been my go-to for birthday goodies this month (tray of goodies picture)! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of products that you are eating! They have an overwhelming selection of baked goods, cookies, pies, cakes, pastries, cup cakes, cheesecakes...you name it, they seem to have it. Oh and did I mention their cheddar jalapeño bread?!? It's perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches. Also, one of the best parts I really like is that you can see the entire kitchen and how clean it is. That says a lot, they take pride in all that they do. I will definitely keep going back for all celebrations!*note: this was around 4th of July, it was saved in my drafts!
I visited a while back and I asked the girl working if she would get the credit card tip if I left one and she told me no. I didn’t ask who did receive them but it was upsetting to see a teenager who was seemingly very busy, still go out of her way to give good service and not receive my tip. What I bought was good but, in my opinion, not worth the prices. I probably won’t visit again because I personally think withholding tips from employees is unethical. If the information I received is false, I apologize and would gladly listen to an explanation.
We went here today to get a couple of sweet treats. My favorite was the fruit tart. It tastes just as good as it looks!
One of the only actual bakeries in Yukon - not just a dessert shop. The breads (sourdough, focaccia, dinner rolls, white chocolate/apricot loaf) over the past few months have all been great. Fantastic variety of desserts that span the gamut of confections. The staff are all very sweet to boot. Glad to see them moving into a larger space as they grow!
just noticed this business today so had to stop in, glad I did because their ice cream was delicious! also impressed with how many options they had for cookies, pastry, pie, tarts, breads... since they're locally/independent owned felt like showing them some love on here!
I went on the day of my daughter’s birthday to get a small cake for family. Everyone loved the cake! The thick layers of icing and moistness of the cake were amazing! We also tried macarons, tiramisu (me and my husband’s favorite dessert), and a cream puff and WHEW!! SO good. Going up there tomorrow to get another cake ?
I needed some treats for a meeting on Valentine’s Day. 9oh6 had a variety of delicious pastries and they were a HUGE hit at the meeting. Super friendly staff too!
Everything I have had from here has been beyond delicious. I had been meaning to try for the longest time, but just never made it. I really should have gone in sooner! It is hard to pick a favorite, it really is, but if I had to I would pick the eclair, but the cheese danish would be a very close runner up. Solution: get both!
The caramel brownies are fantastic. The breads are also great. Highly recommend trying this place out
I want to love this bakery, because the selection is awesome and the service is friendly; but unfortunately, the desserts fall flat for me. I took home about 10 or 12 different kinds in my last two visits. The frostings were bland because they used too much shortening instead of real butter or cream cheese, including in the oatmeal cream pie, which tasted/felt like eating an entire cup of shortening; and in the mint brownie, which looked amazing, but tasted so bitter that I threw it away. Me, a chocolate lover! The Andes mints on top tasted better than the brownie! The regular and pumpkin cinnamon rolls were also dry. I didn't taste any pumpkin. The macarons were too light, instead of having that bit of chewy texture, and had almost no flavor. The flourless chocolate cake was bland, a shock because I've had several in the past that were so rich and decadent. Again with the flavorless frosting... The only thing I really liked (loved actually) was the Nutella croissant. The blueberry bar was good but a bit salty. Oh and the linzer cookies? Usually a favorite of mine at the holidays, they tasted like underbaked, plain dough. Where's the love??? The passion? Like I said, I want to love this place, but I'm let down.
