This is a nice little place we went to for date night. The manager lady seemed not the most pleasant but our server, Julia, was super nice. We each had a pasta dish and wish they both had more sauce but the flavors were still good. The sangria is the best I've had in a ling time! And heads up, it can get pretty loud since it's a smaller place.
Incredible food and service! My girlfriend and I had pizza, salad, cheesey bread and the fried zucchini. Everything was cooked to perfection and our waiter was really sweet. I really enjoyed every moment and I will be back.
First off, this restaurant has been a favorite of ours for many years and up until recently, we've enjoyed coming here for romantic date nights. Last week we made a reservation for 2. When we got to the restaurant at our exact time, we were rudely told that our reservation was for an hour after what we had requested, and we politely told the hostess that we were absolutely positive of our time because if it had been an hour later the restaurant would have been closing for the night. Hostess then told us it would be about 15 minutes before we were seated and we were fine with that. She then proceeded to complain about guests that were staying to long and was pretty openly irritated. We said we'd wait outside and gave her our number to call when the table was ready. No call for over 45 min. We called and they denied the phone call. Decided to walk back in there and ended up waiting another 15 min to be seated. Bruschetta served to us had tomatoes that were watery and didn't taste fresh. We were still hopeful for the entrée and dessert though. We ordered the chicken scaloppini and after eating a few bites, realized it wasn't cooked all the way through. We told the waitress and there was barely even an apology and she immediately brought us the check after removing the entrée from the bill. She didn't even ask if we still wanted dessert or more wine, just gave us the bill and walked away. This entire experience was absolutely unacceptable and we will never be returning to this establishment.
Great food. The ambulance is so awesome. our 1st time here. We loved it.
Been here twice now and I will say I have left unsatisfied both times. The first time the food took over an hour from order to table and the second time was better but still not anywhere close to what I expected. I ordered the steak Sinatra and they brought me a steak with sautéed veggies and no mashed potatoes. So I basically had a dry steak and veggies with no sauce or mashed potatoes. My wife loved her food both times so that’s the only reason we went there again. The lemon berry cake is delicious, we will likely go back because my wife loves her food but I am not happy with my trip either time.
Disappointed. Been a fan and have great memories of this place being intimate and romantic. But not what it used to be. Service was slow. Server was friendly but not very attentive. Food tasted good but $13 for 5 shrimp cocktail? Salads were tiny. Dessert was $7 and teeny-tiny. I don’t know…just not what it used to be and for a grand total of $140.00 including 2 martinis and one house wine…I guess I expected more. Probably won’t back.
Great atmosphere - really felt like a cozy spot in Greenwich Village - with a nice drink selection and incredible food. Highly recommend!
The bolognese is to die for... best Italian in town! ??
Really enjoyed our meal.Cheesy garlic bread with dipping sauce,Caesar salad and veal and spinach pasta.A good bottle of Chianti then finishing with tiramursu and coffee.Service was very good though busy.
So I have been too tuccis twice ,it's a cool place small intamint and nice but the first time the service was really bad .so 6 mo. Later I tried again and same thing. Bad service food was ok. Not the servers fault . So I did tip well for her but she said she had pretty much had enough and was quitting don't blame her. I gave .it a chance but I will not return
