Great concept but not the best execution. I’ve been to similar bars in other cities that blow this place out of the water. It really needs more space because it’s super small and limits what they can do quite a bit. The other places I went to had basketball games, ski ball, pool, air hockey, and of course a lot more arcade games. The games here isn’t the biggest selection and some of the machines aren’t in the best shape. The drinks can be a tad pricey but are pretty tasty.Overall it’s worth stopping by and checking out and it is fun to drink and play some pinball, but maybe this place won’t impress you much if you’ve been to other similar places.
Walking into this place was the worst 30 seconds of my life. It’s dirty, broken down, and creepy. Don’t believe the positive reviews about losing yourself for two hours. It’s BS. The staff were themselves disinterested in the entire experience. Half the games were out of service. The only interesting thing about the place was the guy live-streaming playing pinball with his lights and microphone set up, and even he was creepy. It’s not worth the drive. However, just down the street is an awesome pub with a large outdoor patio and a ton of beer options. If you wander downtown to check out the arcade and find yourself similarly unimpressed, James E McNellie’s is worth the walk down the block.
Fun, but several of the games were broken during our visit to the pub including skeeball and many of the pinball machines. The drinks were cute and in-theme and we had a good time getting our futures given to us from the all mighty Zoltar. I'm still waiting for my lucky life changing letter... but I'm sure it'll come any day now ;)
I was pretty underwhelmed overall. Cute decor but a couple of games weren't working and there weren't that many to try. If you like pinball enough then you can bump this rating up to 4 stars.
a lot of fun great places to hung out
awesome music and cool themed drinks/atmosphere
this place takes me back to a much better time... full of beer and games
Super awesome place! Totally my vibe. Everywhere you turned there was something to look at. Drink specials were 80's 90's pop culture references. I had Ecto Juice and Ninja Turtle drink. I want to go back and play some of the games.
The place is pretty hip with a lot of vintage games and cool retro-inspired drinks. Yet, the female bartender with the butch haircut was very, very rude to myself and another patron sitting across the way from me.I don't care if you're having a bad day. I go to the bar to experience escape from the drama of day-to-day life, relax, and have a good time. When you bring your home life to work, you negate the experience from everyone else. Bad attitudes are infectious. Going there was a bit of a bummer.
Not usually my kind of place, but it was fun! Cool vibe with the games! One bartender was kinda rude.. Don't remember his name and with mask and glasses on I don't think I would recognize him lol!
