I happened to be doing some business on Brookside the other day... okay, so I was picking up some new glasses because I'm getting old... when I noticed Sushi Hana across the street. Ever a fan of sushi, and always looking for a new place to try, I took advantage of the opportunity.First impression was... it's dark inside. Not the creepy uncomfortable noir dark like a vintage detective flick... the "let's meet someplace where no one can see us even if they're sitting at the next table" kind of dark. Honestly, it was a little much for me personally, and I almost whipped out my phone's light to see the menu by. A little ambience can go a long way, and this went too far, again, in my personal opinion.Now, on to the important stuff. Service was great, with my server paying close attention to me and making sure I was taken care of.Not being overly hungry, I settled for a basic Philadelphia Roll and the eel roll.Both were solid and well done. Flavors were all on point, and I was pleased with every aspect of the flavor profiles.The size of the pieces and quantity were a little smaller than most sushi places I habit, but I still came away satisfied. I'm quite sure some of their more signature rolls would be awesome, and if opportunity presents, I plan on finding out at some point in the future.Overall, I was satisfied on all points of my grading scale, and give Sushi Hana a 4/5 stars.BTW... I didn't take any pics because.... well, it was too dark.:)
I really like Sushi Hana. The decor is upscale but comfortable, the fish tank is really neat, and the food is great. I’ve never not enjoyed what I ordered. Reasonably priced. All-in-all a great experience.
From the moment I walked in the door the staff were attentive and welcoming, my sever was Tim and he was on point ? the food was out quickly and the food presentation was beautifully plated. The restaurant was very clean and the Patio was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the weather. Great dining experience!
Ordered online...Online wouldn't take my Credit card information...Selected cash pay at the time of pickup...Arrived with no order made...waited....got my order, and left....Got to my location and....Not enough utensils for 2 or the requested additional wasabi & soy sauce....it wasn't even like super busy... so I say this just wasn't cool for 38.00...
The meals are a work of art, and delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient. Heated patio is comfortable, stay for the evening live entertainment….really great
First off, we were seated by the aquariums, I loved them! Our food was excellent! I got the soft shell crab, it's the best! I also had the tempura shrimp and veggies. My fiance had a sushi roll that I can't remember the name, but it was very tasty. The sake was the best I've ever had! The staff was very helpful and helpful.
Sushi Hana is a standard but good asian fusion restaurant. The service is consistently good, as well as the food. They make an effort to present their food in a very attractive way and the experience is good overall. I recommend this restaurant over Yokozuna. Definitely better flavor and an overall better experience.
As soon as I stepped in the staff was super nice and helpful. We sat outside and accommodated us very well. Service was fast and very helpful. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a date night or just want some really good food.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Sushi was great and the service was even better. Our waitress, Nathaly was so pleasant to talk too and took wonderful care of us.Had another wonderful night. Daniel took care of us this time. Again wonderful service he is an excellent waiter. ?
